ESR 2 Pack Paper-Feel Screen Protector for iPad Air 5/4/iPad Pro 11 Inch

Fits my iPad Pro 12.9" perfectly and very nice to write on with the Apple Pencil. I did have a problem with installation but it was user error. When I peeled the first layer, I guess I went too fast and pulled the first layer with the actual screen protector and didn't notice. When I tried to lay the "screen protector" on the iPad it was flimsy and had a bunch of static, well that's bc I didn't have the screen protector on there. It was too late to salvage the screen protector as it had collected dust and fur from from couch when I disregarded it. Good thing there are two in the package. I was 100% successful on my second try, slowly pulling the first layer off the actual screen protector and was able to lay it on my iPad. Fits perfectly and looks great. The installation tools are a nice addition and very helpful. Keeping the bubble remover scraper for other projects, better than using a credit card, this has a nice foam so there's no scratching.

Great paperlike alternative, might even say its better, and it's a 2-pack!! Application tool is really handy too. No scratches on mine and I'm heavy with the pencil. All touch functions work perfectly. Only downside is that the glossy screen is definitely better for watching movies/videos, but I mainly use my iPad for drawing and note taking and I hate the feeling of writing on glass.

This is my second go around with a "paper like" surface screen cover for my iPad Pro 12.9". These always offer a tradeoff in terms of ease of use and screen brightness but I'm willing to make the compromise. Once installed you do lose a bit of brightness and the images are ver so slightly "pixelated". I put that word in quotes because I don't want to give the impression that it's a bad image or anything, but there is a slight noticeable degradation in image quality especially a video at night in the dark. The tradeoff, however, is a supreme writing and drawing experience when using the Apple Pencil that makes the tradeoff worth it. The surface has a texture to it that makes using the pencil so much more enjoyable than on the smooth glass surface. One thing I have also noticed is that the surface of the material seems to pull the oil and dirt from your fingertips when you're using you fingers and not the pencil so keep a lint free cloth and some glasses spray nearby.The thing I love most about this kit is the installation kit that comes with it. My first product purchase was from another brand and it came with 3 surfaces and I quickly found out why! The first two attempts were trash as it kept getting misaligned and sticking to the glass and creating all sorts of air pockets and creases. Not so with this kit. I was rather impressed at how easily it went down on the iPad on the first try, especially considering how large of a surface area the iPad Pro presents. Once down I did notice an ever so slight bubble where a piece of dust must have landed prior to me attaching the surface to the glass but thank goodness it's in an area near the edge of the iPad and not over the drawing area.All in all this is a great kit and I was very pleased with the experience and ease of use of installing the surface on the iPad. I also appreciate that they give you two paper-like surfaces to use in case you mess up on the first attempt (but you won't) or just one to keep in reserve. That's quite a deal for this price point especially when you compare it to the Paper-Like name brand!I hope you found this review helpful. Cheers!

Let me preface this by saying I am very bad at installing screen protectors, I always have other people put them on for me because I can never get them on correctly without bubbles. This time I had no choice but to do it myself and it turned out to be very easy.The application process is so simple even I could do it without issues, they give you written instructions with pictures as well as a video guide. The tool they give you places the protector perfectly for you all you have to do is clean the screen, use the sticker to get rid of dust, then let the tool do the rest. I was easily able to push out the bubbles for a clean, professional looking install.The paper feel is simply amazing, it has great anti-glare properties as without impacting visual fidelity. Overall I am highly impressed with this, I wish all screen protectors were this easy to install and worked this well.

I used this mate screen protector for one year now. I really like it. I use iPad Pro 2018 11” for handwritten notes with Notability - I use it every day. I’m still on the same Apple Pencil tip, looks like this screen protector doesn’t affect Apple Pencil tip wear. The texture is great for writing, but also for touch interaction with hands - I like the feeling and sound. I thought that scratches will be a problem, but surprisingly wiping out with microfiber cloth removes the marks easily (see attached photos).The anti-reflectivity is great with this screen protector! For example, I compared side-by-side my iPad Pro and my friend’s Supernote (eInk tablet specifically for writing) - my iPad Pro with screen protector is better in terms of anti-glare than Supernote.Note that this mate screen protector (and I believe any mate screen protector) affects screen quality - colors are not as vivid and white has this “sandy rainbow” effect. I actually like the colors, they feel warmer :) I watched many movies on the iPad with this screen protector on and enjoyed the experience. The “rainbow sand” on pure white background is the only thing that really bothered me at first, but I got used to it.I recommend it. If I lost my iPad Pro and got a new one - I would go ahead and buy this screen protector again.

I have used other paper feel screen protectors on my iPads as I like the noise reduction of the pencil when drawing. With the other protectors I did get bubbles and dust no matter what. When I saw this package, complete with the installation tray, cleaning wipe, cloth, and squeegee, I was hopeful. And the installation went great! I am pleased with the product itself for being neutral in color and transparent for my art projects. So far it is very smooth to work on. No more annoying taps from the pencil and a great response in my drawing program. The glare reduction is a bonus for me. I never understand why people like glossy screens on anything. I would definitely recommend this kit. It seems a great value!

I'm a very kinesthetic person. When it comes to writing with pens, I need a little force feedback. I'm great with fountain pens or rollerball pens where I can not only see, but feel the tip engage the paper. When it comes to using an Apple Pencil, it's like using a ballpoint pen...it slips and slides all over the medium. That's unfortunate, given that the 2nd gen pencil is as good as my Wacom stylus on a tablet.This screen protector not only reinforces the screen on my iPad, but the surface provides enough "grab" to make writing or drawing feel more natural.I only dinged it a star not because of its installation issues...because by itself, it doesn't have any. However, on a wide-screen device like an iPad or Surface, there are going to be difficulties, especially with that one grain of dust that drifted in while you put it in place. I'm not going to lie, it's a problem with ANY thin glass screen protector. But, once installed, it works.Just make sure you keep it clean. Fingertip oils and crud off your hand (even clean hands will shed this, it's just part of human physiology) build up. An alcohol swab on the surface removes the crud, and an off-the-shelf screen cleaner restores clarity.

I bought my iPad pro to mostly use for drawing and art work, so I purchased this "paper" feel screen protector to give the drawing a better feel. Installation was fairly easy, until I reinstalled the iPad in my case. The edges of the case immediately pushed in the edges of the screen protector causing bubbles and issues around the edges of the screen. After repeated use, the Apple Pencil was also leaving permanent marks in the surface. Not sure why or how that happened, but it was very noticeable. The feel of the screen protector itself is fine, and if you like the extra friction on the pencil, it might be perfect for you as long as you don't have a bulky case. After the issues I had, and remarks that these protectors can cause premature wear to your Apple Pencil tips, I removed it. This screen protector just isn't for me.

This certainly offers a paper like feel when writing. Overall quality is good. I had a bit of trouble with the installation, but customer support was responsive and helpful. I'm happy with it.

Depois que coloquei a película me sinto mais confiante para desenhar e usar aplicativos de intervenção em pdf estilo o Good Notes. Uma pena que ainda ficou uma pequena bolha no primeiro que usei, mas decidi não retirar e usar a segunda película, para não gastar. Mas o vídeo de aplicação no YouTube é ótimo, a questão foi a falta de habilidade na aplicação. Indico de verdade a aquisição

I absolutely loved the installation process. I’ve been unsuccessful with others, but the frame made this so easy. It’s actually pretty foolproof. Also, it feels more like paper than my old screen protector, and not as scratchy.
