Sits a little high on the low position compared to my passenger seat

Everything great except the hole pattern is different than original. You cant find a diagram on manufacturer's website that details diameter and hole pattern.

When you bur a mainstay pedestal this is a great one
With full adjustability this is the one for you. It includes a gas assist for up down and easy gliding fore aft seat adjustment too.

Good product that was an easy install.
Easy to put in. Have not used it since the install. Sits a little higher than the old one. It appears that the cylinder does what it is suppose to.

Great product!
Works great and as intended. Gave about an additional 6" of lift compared to stock seat. I did have to re drill the holes for mounting as they did not match stock. No negatives for me.

Excellent Product
Bought the same seat pedestal (without seat slider) from a local Marine Dealer for $531. This pedestal, at almost half the cost, has the added feature of being able to slide your seat forward or backwards; in addition to the air rise/lower and swivel feature. This product also meets Coast Guard requirements for seating passengers at speeds in excess of 5 mph. Have tested it on the Great Lakes and my back is happy.
