RatX Throw Packs- for All Species of Rats and Mice Safe Around Pets

Like most reviewers, I purchased this product because of its uniqueness in working on rats and mice ONLY. It's safe around other animals (cats, dogs, birds, etc.) but it's not a miracle bait. It does take time (as the directions say) and one has to use it correctly (which I have found most are not). I do not recommend using peanut butter (and neither does the customer support team). You cannot use it around water sources. It defeats the purpose and intent of the product. Using the correct "attracter" (bacon grease, seeds, and dry cat food) makes for a good source of attracting them to the bait. Before using this bait, we had (have) a mice/rat issue and after a week of using this product I would say we eliminated them completely (we never will get to that point) but the number and noises have seemed to decrease. The bait seems like it will work, it will take a few days to see or notice results, you have to use it correctly, and you may have to use it more than once. But if you are concerned about your pets or other wildlife, you do not have to worry when using this. A word of caution!!!! If you intend to use to use this bail in conjunction with some sort of 'hard' traps, be prepared to check them DAILY. It will work.

Don't waste your money. Does not work. I have bird feeders so of course, rats are going to help themselves. Threw out several of these packs and rat ran past it to the seed. None of the other packages had been tampered with. Put several into an open rat trap as suggested. No results.

I really didn't have high Hope's for this, but because is was safe around my animals I decided to try it.I put a bag where I knew they hung out. I was happy to see yesterday morning that they "Took the bait".And this morning when I got up, much to my surprise, One very large dead rat!!!I have spent so much money with scary poisons and traps, and finally so.ething Safe, and Easy and neat of all EFFECTIVE!!!I now this sounds like a paid ad but trust me. I am just a no longer frustrated old lady, trying to take back my home!

The mice do eat it. However, with the amount of pellets in here and the mice eating the entire bags, I am not sure why they have not died yet. So I think some of them have and others have not. I have seen a decrease since using this but i was hoping it would get rid ot all of them.

The packets themselves got no attention at all. So I broke them open and mixed them with peanut butter. I put them out after dark so as to not attract the squirrels, on little disposable plates. The ones in the back yard (5) got eaten totally last night, and the night before, 3 1/2 got eaten. In the front yard, it looked like one was eaten, and one was untouched. A couple of them look like they've been nibbled at. My concern is that the big possum is eating them that comes through my yard. I gather them up before dawn when the squirrels awaken, so as to not give them any problems. Squirrels are only active from dawn to after dusk. I didn't hear any chewing in my ceiling last night, so I am hopeful. I will probably be ordering some more after I mix up this next batch, but want to see if the bait is still there in the front. With a possum, it's hard to tell what is going on. They eat anything.

This is the best rat extermination you can get!!! I live in a corner house and when city brush does pick up I tend to get the worst of infestation mainly rats 😢 I tried lots of different remedies even organic and home remedies nothing works.. I bought this and less then a week later I have not seen or heard any rats !!! And I don’t smell any death !! BEST DECISION EVER

I despise using poison but will do so all other options have been exhausted. As a poultry farmer, I've had a horrible problem with rats since 2020. I've never seen them in such volume before then, but my theory is when the pandemic shut the restaurants down, it forced the rats to look for food sources elsewhere. They seem to be comfortable raiding my grain, eggs, and even my chickens themselves. I've had entire adult birds devoured by packs of rats!Since I know poisons are devasting to the environment and dangerous for pets, I decided to try these first. I used them as directed and placed them at throughout the grain room and near the rat burrows. I waited for two weeks. The pack piles were left untouched and I continued to have a problem. Maybe the local rats here just don't have a taste for these or are too smart, but I wanted these to work very badly!

I love how easy these are to use. We have a huge attic and I placed around 12 packs around up there and the rat presence disappeared. The same is true for our crawl space. We live left to a national park and have all kinds of wildlife. Killing these rats without any danger to the rest of the wildlife is important to us. I had used rat poison a few years ago when the problem first came up, the poison killed the rats, but we had one crawl into our wall up to the second floor in an outside where we were unable to get to it without disassembling an entire bathroom. We had to wait for many weeks for the smell to go away and for that bathroom to become useable again. No such problem with this product. I have cleaned out several mummified rats from my crawl space. Works great.
