Does the mic work on a Nikon D5100?

If a Nikon D5100 has a 3.5 MM TRS or TRRS microphone jack, this mic will work.

How, on an iphone 8, no mic jack. I have a lightning plug to stereo adaptor but hear nothing.

Check your cable connected to your iPhone. Needs to have 3 “lines” on it. I used a usb3 end - but it’s the same as lightning.

Will this work with GoPro 8 black?

Sorry, I have no experience with a GoPro and if the Mic would work with it.
