This filter set is like most out on the market. I use this set to help keep my pets water fresh and clean. I have to replace it every month due to pet hair and debris getting into their bowl. It’s a pain to clean every month but it keeps my pets with fresh water.

Used with Dog's electronic WATER dispenser.

Look, it's a great fountain. By far the biggest capacity one i can find. But it is INFURIATING that petsafe refuses to sell the foam separately. It's wasteful enough because not everyone goes through the charcoal filters at the perfect pace but, moreover, those of us who buy the separate premium filters MADE BY PETSAFE have no choice but to acquire three filters we will never use every time we need a new foam insert. And while it would be irritating (and arguably an antitrust violation) if they were tying them together simply to force you to use their products, it's even more inexplicable that they sell their own separate premium charcoal filters but give you no option to purchase foam with filters you won't use. i will stick with this fountain because, like i said, it's by far the best option for those of us with dogs with a drinking problem...but i will forever resent petsafe for the stupid stupid stupid and entirely illogical business choice of not selling the foam separately.

The fountain is great. As many others have stated here, it is very frustrating that PetSafe does not sell the foam filters separately. The foam filters are packaged with 3 carbon filters and depending on your rate of usage, you will probably end up with more carbon filters that you need!

I have the drinkwell outdoor and it is the perfect fit. So glad I came across this.

would like to see a kit with more sponges and the same amount of filters, we have big dogs they are consistently dropping food and grass in to bowl, so it all gets trapped in filter, so it gets dirty very fast. once its past a certain point you cant clean it

Have been using this filter for some years and it has never let me down. It helps me keep my pet water fountain clean and fresh. Absolutely highly recommend!

My three dogs love this. I have a large, medium, and small dog and this saves me from filling up multiple bowls all day. Now I add water every three days. The first day, one of my dogs refused to try it. She was afraid of it. I knew eventually she would give in and use it. She loves it now, and prefers to drink from this unit. It's not difficult to assemble, and took me about 5 minutes. The directions were easy to follow, but I don't know about cleaning the unit yet. I removed one star because it is hard to tell when the containers are empty, and the fill line is a dark colour. It's a well made product, and not cheap plastic. I find that it's quiet. It reminds me of having a fish tank filter running with a small humming noise.

Happy this is available now. This kit is the only way to get a new white foam filter that goes around the pump.

It is exactly what it you need!Great price! Far better than in the pet store and you DON'T need to leave the house, scour the shelves for the correct size you need for your fountain and then wait in line. What more could you ask for?Excellent deal.
