I really hate stuff on my face, especially my nose. I don’t even wear makeup. So I was trying to figure out what to do when I board a jet airliner in the fall. I ordered this shield and I think it will work fine. The felt headband is a little warm, but the plastic doesn’t touch my face, and it is a good size. It extends a couple inches below my chin.The failure of face masks is you constantly touch your face to move or adjust it for comfort which kind of defeats the purpose. This plastic doesn’t touch your face, and it can easily be raised up to take a drink. I think I can live with this for my 10 hour flight. Nice product and it doesn’t bug my ears with loops or hooks. Quick delivery too. Thanks!P.S. The negative reviews here are unfortunate because they are mostly user error. There are two films to protect the shield from scratches in transit. Green on one side and clear on the other. Both films must be removed before use. They are somewhat difficult to remove and could benefit from pull tabs to make it easier, but until both are removed the shield will be cloudy.

I'm being required to go back into the office and I wanted additional PPE beyond just a mask. I'm really grateful for it. I also plan to fly around Thanksgiving and plan to wear this in addition to my mask. It makes me feel just a bit safer. I will say, I bike to work, and I put it on before arriving to the building, and it can be hot wearing this and a mask after doing physical exercise. It is comfortable and I'm able to wear my headset at the same time and not have any interference. I also wear glasses and don't have any problems. As others have mentioned, it lays flat once you deconstruct it, which is so easy and wonderful, because I can put it in my bag behind my laptop. It will come with protective film on either side and you'll need to peel it off for the shield to be clear.Just a reminder- this is NOT a mask substitute. This is additional PPE. Please wear your mask in addition to this.

I bought this for my mom to wear with her patients as seeing mouth movements is crucial. I like that it is very large so it has great coverage and the cloth headband is comfortable.The visibility is good, though it is pliable plastic so you will get scratches and dents, but I don't find that to be an issue.We ended up buying more for ourselves for times when we can't wear masks.

The plastic is lightweight and would be fine to wear if you could see through the plastic. This is not a clear plastic as shown in the picture or put in the description. It is tinted with a hazy blue tint and you cannot see through the plastic to see where you're going. I am fairly furious. I expect this kind of service from Facebook advertisers, not Amazon sellers.

I selected this item to use in face to face psychotherapy encounters, since it is important to be able to see facial expressions both ways. It works well for that when both parties are wearing one. The downside is that sound and airflow are more restricted than I'd hoped. When it is lifted slightly, given good social distance, to improve sound and airflow, it has a tendency to drop down again quickly and to need to be re-lifted in a short time, which is a bit irritating.It is easy to disassemble and wash with soapy water between sessions, and it packs flat if you wish to carry several around in your briefcase.

This arrived promptly and packaged in a large enough box with air cushioning packets. But the product in it's plastic bag looked like something had run over it with something or like it had been dragged on the floor. The package and product had scratches and gravel. When I pulled off the anti-scratch guard, it still had areas where the scratches and damage had affected the product. The face cover IS very clear when the two sides of protective plastic are removed - the reviews about the plastic being cloudy are not accurate as far as I could see. I'm sad that this was damaged, it would have worked well otherwise. I'm sending it back

I was surprised at how large the shield is-- and thus how protecting. I've had many people-- including a number of people in the medical profession-- ask where I got the shield so they could get one as well. However, I accidentally left mine in the car one day, and the heat permanently fogged up the plastic. Thus I am ordering a couple more today. I've tried a few other shields, masks, gators... searching for anything that will help me to be able to breathe while I am at work all day. This is the ONLY one I put on now. Even with a foggy screen, it's better than all the rest.UPDATE 11/21/2010:I continue to have doctors, nurses, physical therapists, medical technicians ask where I bought my face shield. I've decided just to print this Amazon page, and carry the sheets with me when I go to my physical therapy and chiropractor appointments. This is my third order-- not because my original shield wore out, but because I've found it's a perfect gift for loved ones, neighbors, friends. I'm giving this face shield to all of my extended family members this year. It may be their gift... but I'm the one who is going to be happy... knowing they are safe.

I really like this. I have the kind that has the thick band and this does not feel as claustrophobic (especially because I am wearing it with a double mask set up) and glasses. I needed something that would work well w my glasses and this is it. Plus it tilts up for when you need it to. The plastic is thin so I’m not sure how long it’ll last, but I’m trying to take good care of it. If I don’t get COVID laid off I’ll definitely buy more of these in the future.
