I have an 2017 Ariens 34" with a Kohler 19 hp, this was super easy to install (took 3 minutes) and worked right away. At this time of the review I had only started the mower roughly a dozen times - so I cannot speak to it's longevity.

Used this on a Husqvarna zero turn. Perfect fit. Good value for the money. Hopefully it will last for years.

The starter fit the my CubCadet XT2 just fine. It is working fine so far - hopefully it will last as long as the original.

This is a real Gen 3 Starter Motor, Compared it with my old stock Gen 3 and it was identical. Disconnected the Battery, Removed the old one and installed this new one took a total of 10 Minutes. Reconnected the Battery and Mower started right up like New, "No Hesitation". Time will tell how long this will last. Mowed my 2.5 Acres with multiple smoke breaks and mower started right up every time. So far I'm Super Satisfied!

Installed this starter on June 5, was a very easy install and fixed the starting issue I was having with my Cub Cadet LT1050 mower. But it soon failed after only about 2 1/2 months of use!! Absolutely ridiculous in my opinion since it really didn't get a lot of use considering that I only mow roughly 4 times a month! Completely worthless now cuz the return window of course is closed... Buyer Beware :(

I used this on my Toro zero turn with a 2012 Kohler 22 HP twin engine. It is a night and day difference in the starting now. Before, I was always having to buy new batteries and would still have to use my truck to jump off the mower. Now it starts up instantly! I did upgrade the size of the wires going from the battery to the starter using some heavy duty car amplifier wire. We will see how long it lasts. I will update this review if it fails. I would hope to get at least 2 years out of it.

I have already answered this one. This motor goes on a 24HP Kohler engine, no "Easy-Start" mechanism in it. Consequently it is tough on starter motors. There are three versions-"generations"- of the motor. You sent me one of the first, which breaks quickly. I have sent it back- yesterday.
