Love these targets.
Great targets. Very durable. Multitude of different ways to set them up, personanlly I like setting them up with the thick T post and their mounts also from Caldwell. They are a very good size too. I would even say they are better than the 100% sized targets as those are kind of monsters.

Really solid gong for 200-yard rifle shooting.
I was skeptical when I saw this gong is made in China. But, on the range, it has proven to be of very high quality. Heat treatment seems consistent right to the very edge of the material. I've shot this plate (at 200 yards) with 5.56, 7.62x51, .308, 7.62x39, 7.92x57. Only M855, with its mild steel core, caused any deformation of the plate. Even then, only VERY minor cratering. This plate is a bit small at 200 yards but is a very manageable challenge wIth a scoped rifle. The finish is a baked epoxy type paint or maybe powder coated. It doesn't last long after the bullets start hitting though. But white spray paint fixes it right up. I haven't left it out on the range so I cant say how quickly it rusts. When I was shopping for AR500, this seemed like the most affordable optional it has definitely not disappointed me. I prefer American, when it makes sense, but I cant remember ever having been disappointed by Caldwell products.

FUN!
Used for the first time today and it held up great, 9mm left no dents and 223 left bb sized dents. The ding sound is quite satisfying!

Would buy again
Good target, the only downfall is the bolt that secures it is trash. It shattered within 4 rounds on two separate targets I got. I ended up going to the hardware store and bought about 20 replacement ones, so far none of those have shattered lol 😂

Durable and good quality for the price. Has survived lots of .223 FMJ at 200 yards as well as .243 and .270 hunting rounds. Occasionally the .223 FMJ has left a tiny dimple, just enough to see, but probably only 1mm wide. Only actual damage was a .270 round that impacted right at the very edge and left and little gouge out of the square edge, but that’s nothing major.

Muy bueno, es justo lo que promete. Lo compré sobrado para el calibre que yo uso pero funciona muy bien y solo ocupa una pintada con aerosol para volverse a usar
