The first time I apply it is after I get out of the shower before putting my makeup on. It really is easy to use and doesn't require me to do anything extra but just apply it. When applying, it feels as all I'm doing is brushing my brows but with every stroke, it applies color directly to the lash. I will see a little color on my skin but it's hardly even noticeable on what does get brushed on. I do wait till it dries before touching my brows which is usually a couple of minutes. As soon as it dries, almost feels a little crunchy but nothing really bad. By the next day, my lashes are still dark enough that I don't need to apply anything. By the fourth day is when I'm seeing that I need to reapply but usually in certain areas and not the whole brow. By day 5 and 6, it's time to reapply the whole brow. At most, I use this maybe twice a week and that's it.
