Makes it easy to study

This book taught me so many mathematical formulas and how to tackle arithmetic reasoning that I just could not pick up in high school, believe it or not! The other prep factors were a plus too when used in conjunction with the app. Ultimately, I did score 10 points higher on the ASVAB because of the two weeks I took to prep, as someone who is a bad test taker I think that's a great improvement for me.Would I recommend? Yes.Who would I recommend to? Adults, who have been out of school and need a quick study guide for a wide study of things ASVAB or not, I recommend if you're taking the Accuplacer at your local college.

I studied only the first 5 sections since my mos didnt require the other parts. I ended up being eligible for every mos in the military. The book is great in terms of giving you examples of questions and explaining how the test works.I think some people think that the book will magically explain them every math or science concept which it wont. It will give you an idea of where your weakest points are at, so that you can study by yourself using other sources. So if there was a math concept I didnt understand, I would google it and learn it by myself.

I bought this for one of the dumbest people I know. Not kidding. He is stupid. Like, look at you with a blank stare after you give him instruction that a 3 year old could comprehend, stupid. He scored a 26 on his first practice test 2 weeks ago. He has been using this book since then. He just took his second practice test at the recruiter's office and came up to a 72. It was such an improvement, they thought he might have cheated somehow. If it helped him, it can help ANYBODY.Update: He scored an official 49 on his asvab.

I received the book quick and it arrived as described. I was hesitant to order because I seen a lot of comments about how they were not able to access the online portion. Once I received my book I ran into the same issue, however the issue was resolved in under 10 minutes. I used dummies.com live chat feature and all I have to do was send a pic as proof I ordered it and I was given the access code. You shouldn’t have to do all that, but hopefully this helps someone out.

I highly suggest this book to anyone wanting to join the military. I bought this book a few months before taking my ASVAB test and I passed it first try. It breaks everything down and make it easy to understand. There are practice tests, notes, and more. You also get access to the app for studying on the go. It is for all branches and even shows what scores you need to get every job available in the branch you are going into.

I studied for one week an hour a day before I actually took the asvab. I got a gt score of 112 which was more than what i needed to get the job i wanted. It was easy to follow and the practice test help out a lot.

It’s been 11 years since I originally took the ASVAB, I bought this book studied for about three weeks 2-3 hours a day. Focused mostly on timing my self while taking the practice tests. I scored low 80s and if I studied more I probably could of gotten a higher score. I only used this book and the online tests it came with. Good luck!
