Skylanders Spyro Adventure Triple Character Pack (Whirlwind, Double Trouble, Drill Sergeant)

The pack of three figures are amazing and worth the price.

A great game and product, but parents do need to be aware that by investing in it for their kids that, like everyone with so many things, they are going to want more, more, and more...I see these characters as the new 'baseball or football' card where kids are going to want to collect more and more characters to add to their 'team' to play the game. At least for the most part they can pick the characters and they're reasonably priced. I think it is a fun take on gaming for kids and has been fun. It is just a matter of not letting it get out of control...

My son is 4 and Skylanders is his new obsession. This pack was great for him. Why? Because all 3 characters have a very high defense system, so it makes it harder for Skylanders to "need rest", and they have great attack power as well. Also, he had a little trouble controlling Spyro because of the speed. These characters are a little slower for him, allowing him to get a little more used to the controls. We let him pick out this pack by himself (with a little influence) and he was super excited when it arrived. He wanted to take all three of them to bed with him. Parent tip- If you don't already know, there are 8 "elements" on the game, each character being of a different element. You need a character of each element to unlock all the portions of the maps. We paired this 3 pack with Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Triple Character Pack (Wrecking Ball, Stealth Elf, Sonic Boom) , to go along with the 3 that came with the game. This gave the kids ALL elements with the 9 Skylanders. Not saying you have to get the same 2 packs, but if you miss an element, you kid WILL let you know and you may end up spending more money. The awesome thing about Skylanders characters is that if you have an Xbox 360 and their friend has a Wii, the characters work on all systems! They can take their Skylanders to a friends house and they can trade or borrow if they want. Just don't buy them one of the expensive ones and let them trade it away. Also, I say my kids are obsessed (and they are) but I don't let them sit there all day playing. They do alot of physical activity too!

As with all of the Skylanders, these characters are beautifully created. The design of the characters as well as the various textures and colors on the same character make them little works of art. As for the game play, we really enjoy them. We have found buying the Spyro's characters gives us double bang for our buck since they all work on the Spyro and Giants game. Originally, my son really wanted Stup Smash and I found this pack for nearly the same price as the single character, so to build his Skylanders collection, I got this triple pack instead. I have to say that after playing with all three characters, Drobot has become one of our favorite characters to play. The Spyro version of the character seems bigger and more majestic looking than the Giant's version. And once you start powering up Drobot, he's practically unstoppable. Not to mention, he is one of the few characters who can fly after you've powered him up. Flameslinger and Stump Smash are two classic characters and we enjoy playing with them as well. You could buy the individual characters, but buying the triple pack is more affordable and builds your collection more quickly. And these are three great classic Skylanders that everyone should own.

The product is great. Also the company was quick to contact me when I had a delay in the delivery. Found out it had nothing to do with them. Amazon shipped the product through UPS and UPS damaged the package. What they did was repackage the toy that had a little damage on the original packaging that the toy is in. But the toy itself looks ok. UPS sent me a notification that my package would be delayed and that worried me. But they finally delivered it yesterday. Also the company offered to send me a extra product because of the delay even though it wasn’t their fault. I didn’t accept since it wasn’t their fault. I Would or from them again though!!!!!

What a fantastic little bundle of characters, I love collecting them and have none of these so when they came at lvl 1 brand new I was incredibly happy. Great buy ! :-)

All of the figures came in great condition. It was in the original box, which I was very surprised the box was not damaged whatsoever.
