I originally bought the wrong size for this. I bought this one and it worked perfect for my side awning. Mine was very easy to put on it had a notch already to put it in and it slid right in no problem and I've been using it for three trips so far.

OEM replacement fits perfectly
When my original awning strap broke due to sun rot, I ordered a pair of cheaper universal straps only to find that they were too long. Much worse, the “universal” strap’s end piece not fit my Carefree Fiesta awning. So I had to return them and buy this OEM version. It costs a bit more, but most importantly, it fit!

perfect replacement for dometic elite 9000 - don’t forget to have a backup strap
ideal length and excellent quality. the old strap started to weaken at the stitching and i sewed it - which held until i arrived at my destination to receive this new strap. kept the old strap as don’t want to be caught with the strap breaking mid-open or close. good idea to monitor and have a backup strap.

Good replacement
The strap on our awning broke right at the pin inside the awning. This was a perfect replacement and long enough when rolled up. Followed videos online to figure out how to safely replace it in the awning groove as well, as my groove wasn't accessible from either end of the awning bar to easily slide in/out.

The Day is Awning
Replacing one that rotted through. Easy to put on and works exactly like it’s supposed to. The only issue is it doesn’t slide easily. I’m sure eventually it will smooth out.

As good or better than OEM strap. Delivery was on time. Just slide the old one out of opposite side of awning drum & slide new one in. You may have to roll back a little on the awning if the support arms are blocking removal & installation.
