Nice quality, holds shells firm to tight, no danger of them dropping or falling out
This is a quality made item and worth the price. There is one minor problem. I can't use it, lol. Yet anyway. I had changed my OEM stock and slide to a shurshot thumbhole type, and the slide for this change extends to cover the loading chamber and therefor mounting this would interfere with racking the slide. I didn't dock anything on the rating for this as I don't expect the manufacturer to handle all possible modifications. I will need to decide if I want to hunt down my OEM slide to use with this. I can always give or sell to a buddy (depending on ow good of a buddy he/she is) if I decide to stay with the sureshot forend slide.which I do like.

Ordered twice, junk both times...
The smaller machine screw is cut too short and barely connects with the backing plate, which causes the bolt to strip the fist bolt groove on the backing plate. Very poor design. I tried starting the bolt without the provided washer to give more length - that didn't work either. After my first order failed with the above problem, I ordered again and retried, but failed again. Poorly made product. I am a federal law enforcement officer, tactical firearms instructor and armorer.

Install was not successful for me. YMMV
The product looked like it was pretty rugged but ultimately wasn’t. During the install the bolts that attach to the backplate became stripped and couldn’t grab the baseplate. I’m not going to rule out operator error here but at the same time how rugged could you be that pushing you through the trigger pin holes could strip the bolts? I ended up throwing it away. It could totally be an issue on my end but I wasn’t impressed and I won’t be purchasing another one

Needs to be modified to work (smaller threaded hole and bolt don't tighten up)
The product seems fine other than the smaller bolt and smaller bolt hole. The smaller bolt is a lesser quality than the larger bolt, it seems like it's made of aluminum vs. The larger bolt that's steel. Also, the smaller bolt hole threads seem to be stripped out, I sent the first one back but the second one had the same problem.
