In all honesty it wasn't able to hold any door with a hinge open. In fact, the only door this thing will hold open is one that has no force pushing it. Even the wind created by someone walking quickly can move the door enough to bypass this.It is very flimsy and does not grip the floor at all. I tried it on tile, carpet, wood flooring, laminate, nothing.. I might as well have put cotton balls under the door. This seriously is the worst door stop I have used, I don't know what these other reviews are talking about.I needed it to hold our bathroom door open at our place of worship so that when mopping there is air circulating and helping the floor dry. Instead I got a flimsy piece of rubber that fails at doing the one thing it's designed to do: Hold a door open. I was so frustrated with this product that I threw it away after 30 minutes of trying.

It works to hold up the door between my garage going into my house with a 1.5 inch clearance. This more than I could say for the other door stopper I got a local retail shop--it was too low to properly hold the door open.HOWEVER, I would prefer that it was a bit thicker so it could stand up (as you see in the picture) on its own. Instead, it tends to fall on its side since it is thin and tall. That would be fine if I weren't carrying groceries and having to bend down to insert it into the garage door every single time. I would suggest to the manufacturer to increase the width by another inch or so.

As door stoppers go, these are alright. I liked the larger size, because our doors have up to 2 inches of ground clearance which rules out using most other doorstops. It works pretty well if the surface that it's on is grippy. If not, then I noticed these door stops tend to slide, especially if there's any dust and dirt or if it is a on a smoother surface. We still use them in a pinch, however my favorite doorstop is  Wedge-It WEDGE-IT-1 The Ultimate Door Stop, Lime Green . I've bought several of them for myself and some for family, and these buggers really do you hold our doors, especially in high winds. I also prefer the bright colors to see them better when they're in place.

Yes, they're certainly 'heavy-duty,' and function very well as door stoppers. For lighter doors with minimal floor clearance, these may be a bit overkill.Now, if you're looking to get a little creative... I've found another great use for them:I use them to prop up my acoustic guitar amp. (*See photos.) By positioning them under the base, I can direct the sound upward, off the floor. They hold things securely in place and the rubber material prevents slipping.

I received a sample for testing. All opinions are my own.I have Doors that are higher cut at the bottom. It is impossible to use a regular sized door stopper. These larger stoppers are a perfect solution! They fit my and keep my doors open without sliding about. They aren't too bulky as to to get in the way but are larger enough to do the job.. The rubber material doesn't scuff my floor or chip away at the base of the door. I am very please with these

These are made of heavy duty plastic,which will last a long time. They are very sturdy. They are good for holding the door open in or outside the house. I also use it to hold my one door closed. They measure about 6 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 1" and the height tapers down to 1". Incredibly soft, jelly-like plastic that will absolutely not withstand the force or weight of any door trying to close in on itself. Bends and contorts even as you attempt to lodge it into the ground and set the door on it with your hands. Did not work for me on any surface; carpet and tile alike. Will immediately begin to slide. Perhaps I received an exceptionally bad batch, but I will be looking elsewhere.

Perfect door stoppers for my balcony doors. Exactly what I wanted.Good thing that I can position the stoppers on different sides and they will do their job just perfect keeping the door either wide open or less open depending on a position. My balcony doors are higher than most interior doors; thus these rubber stoppers are perfect size and shape, and made of a durable material that will last for long (seems like it). These stopper may not look sophisticated for nice interior design, but I would definitely recommend them for industrial or exterior purposes. Very good product and worth the money.
