This product works very well for me
I now have 2 pairs of these and have recently ordered 2 more pairs (on the way). Obviously, I like this product a lot. But I am not using it the way many people are -- for plantar fasciitis. I am using it for degenerative osteoarthritis. I have a pretty bad case of it and it very much affects my feet. I walk a lot, usually 3 or 4 miles every day, and so my feet take a beating, even with good shoes and cushioned socks, and with soaking them. I have the customary swelling -- more aptly known as "thickening" -- in my feet that comes from this kind of arthritis, along with constantly aching feet at night.I wanted some kind of compression sock or sleeve to use at night. I like to sit and read, and I usually elevate my feet -- and I thought compression would help. These sleeves are perfect for me. I think it is vital to measure correctly. These DO NOT go by shoe size, and they DO NOT go by the circumference of your ankle. They are sized by the circumference of your ARCH; that's where you measure, from the bottom of your foot and arch up around the top part of your foot. The size chart on the box reads this way: S = 5 to 8 inches circumference; M = 7 to 10 inches circumference; L = 9 to 13 inches, and XL = 11 to 15 inches circumference. My circumference is 10.5 inches so I bought a large and they fit perfectly -- a little snug but not too tight at all. Quite comfortable after the first 30 minutes or so.Right now, I am using these at night for maybe 2 to 4 hours, and so far, they have really reduced the pain on the tops of my feet and the swelling there. For the first time in many months, I can actually get up and move around the house at night very comfortably and normally, and not feel that my feet hurt me with every step. I can get around generally fine during the day, but I used to dread the evening when I became less mobile. Now, I slip on my FS6 sleeves at home every night and feel about 90% better than I used to. These sleeves have just the perfect amount of compression for me (I would call it light since the material is 24% spandex and 76% micro-nylon), and they have improved the quality of my life a lot. I won't be without at least 2 pairs from now on.

Excellent!
Over the past year and a half I have had arthritis in both my ankles. I have tried every foot/ankle sleeve/support I could find locally. I tried all of them from CVS, Walmart, Target, and a nearby Medical supply store. They all had the same problem: they worked fine barefoot, but were too bulky to fit in my shoes comfortably unless I wanted to buy shoes 2 sizes larger. My foot and the support were too bound by my shoe and even though I did want support I did not want that much of a restricted range of motion. I started to have more pain because of the restriction. Now that's where these come in. I was sold a pair of these by my podiatrist and they were exactly what I needed. They give a good amount of support but are thin enough that you can wear them with normal socks and shoes without any issues at all. They aren't too bad looking either if you wanted to wear them with a pair of sandals or flip flops. I wear a size 13 shoe, sometimes in a slightly wider than normal size. I have pretty thick, but not very thick calves and ankles. The large size OrthoSleeve fits me perfect. They are a little hard to get on if your feet are moist or clammy. The company does not recommend leaving them on for more than 8 hours without a break(because of circulation), and I do agree, they start to hurt after more than 8 or 9 hours of wear. They also recommend hand washing them to extend their life. I hand wash them with mild soap (I use Dr Bronners for hand soap and this task) and hang to dry about once a week. I seem to wear out a pair every 6 months. Amazon is by far the cheapest I have found to purchase these. Half the price they are at my doctors. These are absolutely perfect for several foot problems. But please do not use these as a replacement for seeing a doctor if you have pain or swelling that is not ordinary for your health. It could be something more serious. My ankle arthritis was found to be caused by a disease called Sarcoidosis that had also negatively effected many other parts of my body. The arthritis is getting better with medication, but these still do help a lot. I highly recommend.

Arch pain comparison
I have high arches which cause arch and heel soreness when I walk a lot or stand for extended periods. I had no idea which product to buy so I purchased the following to compare:Jump USA Plantar Foot Support with Silver Ion Antimicrobial Guard- Good support and adjustable but the bulkiest of the three which make it harder to wear with shoes. I use this one around the house when not wearing shoes. Appears to be durable and made to last.Lumiscope Arch Easer PairSimple design adjustable and fits over or under sock. It’s like a heavy duty ace bandage that works with a single wrap which enables you to easily wear with shoes. Appears to be durable and made to last.OrthoSleeve FS6 Compression Foot SleeveFits just like a sock and good compression. The only problem is that it is not adjustable. This caused a problem when my foot was swollen. No problems yet but doesn’t seem to be as durable as the other two.All of the products have helped relieve my arch and heel pain. As for how they compare….I choose Arch Easer as overall best because of adjustability, ease of use, and fit with shoes.

My feet feel great!!!
When I opened the package I thought they looked way too small. But don't be deceived. As soon as I pulled then on the transformation was amazing. The support they give to the arch feels great and after years of foot pain due to plantar fasciitis, it's a blessing.
