Ogio Straight Jacket Travel Cover

I am military. I went from alas Vegas to Little Rock, no problems with my clubs. Then I went from Little Rock to Salt Lake City (changed Planes even) no issues. Just went from SLC, to SEATAC INTL, and finally landed in Japan. My clubs are safe, and there is no sign of damage. Now, in addition to the bag, I bought a Bag Boy backbone. I also followed some advice to wrap the shafts of my clubs with towels or sweaters. So i can not honestly say that the bag itself protected my Golf Clubs. I can say that the bag is extremely roomy, so much in fact that we put other items in it for out move. During all the moving one of the side-zipper tangs came off. That part is a downer, but I can still easily zip and in-zip that pocket. My golf bag is an OGIO woody carry bag. I have 12 clubs in my bag (Driver-putter). I am sure the fact that I am using an OGIO product already helped a great deal. Good buy. Money well spent.

Good bag. Surprisingly big -- almost too big for what I really wanted. You can stuff shoes, shirts, extra balls, or whatever, into this thing. As a result, it becomes a bit difficult to manage when you also have other luggage. Have only made one trip with it, and I also used a Backbone to give more support and protection for my clubs. Clubs arrived safe and sound, but it was also a short, direct flight. So far so good. However, if you are looking for something sleeker and less roomy, this may not be what you want.

Used it for the first time yesterday and I was relieved that it managed to stand up to the wear and tear of travel. Fits my set perfectly and with the compression straps I was able to secure and reduce the thickness of it. Fit into the trunk of the car and taxi without any problems. Used in conjunction with the BagBoy backbone I didn't even have to worry about my gear at all, even when I saw my bag stacked below a couple of other golf bags.My decision to purchase this was vindicated when I saw 1-2 golf bags coming out the conveyor with the weather cover ripped, and balls and tees rolling on the conveyor :)

My entire golf bag and shoes and towels all fit with ease. Only one airplane trip, but performed as I expected. Pretty easy to handle and no damage to my clubs.

I love the bag but the seem blew out on the 1st trip. Not sure if the baggage belt tore it or if it was poor stitching on the bag. I still use it but i had to put tape over the hole.

I bought this for a few golf trips I planned before leaving the country. After one flight (only 2.5 hours) there's a fairly large hole towards the bottom, and several smaller holes opening up near the zipper at the bottom of the bag. I'm not sure what could have caused this, but we all know that luggage handlers aren't necessarily careful with golf clubs. I take a risk using a soft cover to ship my clubs, but I never expected OGIO to make something that would fall apart so quickly. Mine might be defective, and I'll update this review after I've talked to customer service. Just thought I'd put it out there, since this bag was a welcome alternative to the more expensive ClubGlove I used (for free) in college.

Looks like but the picture is very deceiving. The bag is not nearly as rigid as it appears. When a bag is inside, it looks and feels more like a large duffle bag. The only rigid part is the small back / bottom piece to the bag. I would have loved to see significantly more padding and/or rigidity base off the pictures. Even though my bag and club made it to my destination unscathed I'm not sure I'd highly recommend this product.

I shipped my clubs once and checked them another time with this bag so far. The travel bag still looks new, protects my clubs very well and is both more convenient and has more room than the hard-cover travel case I replaced. So far, I'm loving my new OGIO Straight Jacket.

Quality excellent

All appears to be great, we shall see how the bag survives the trip.

以前　取り外しができる外付けのバックパッカーになるポケットがありましたが　宅配便で運んだら外れてしまった経験があり　また取っ手がしっかりしてなかったので　片方が外れてしまったが　今回のはしっかりして持ち運びも安心です
