Microplane Adjustable V-Blade Slicer with Julienne Feature Stainless steel / Black

I always buy microplane, they are a fantastic brand. All their products that I have purchased are excellent quality, are easy to use and clean and stand the test of time.

Slices very well. As with all mandolins great care needed to avoid cutting fingertips! Less effective as a julienne cutter - struggles with things like ginger

Incredibly effective device. Transparent slices of potato with a vey smooth, light effort. Personal thickness easily available. Simple to clean and sturdy design. Very pleased with purchase.

Il be honest, curiosity got the better of me with this purchase. Microplane are great for many things and this V-blade starts off that way. Easy to use, good range of motion with solid adjustable knob along with sturdy safety guard for gripping veg etc. However, flip the back board to julienne and disappointment soon follows. You can only slide down your veg/food before you get stuck on the way back up, before Tearing the veg to bits. I peeled and cut a carrot ready to julienne and only got 3 strokes out of it. Save your self some money and buy just a mandolin and use a knife to julienne afterwards.

Saw a recommendation for this product in a magazine and bought immediately. Has completely lived up to expectations and use it all the time. Light, easily handled with good results. Would certainly recommend.

Absolutely best gadget ever. Easy to use easy to clean and easy to storage. Do not forget to get cut safe glove for it

Bra med reglering av skivor & trevlig julienne stavar men det är lite svårt att skiva. Bladen är inte så vassa så grönsaker fastnar när man använder den & det kan vara lite farlig! Annars det är en bra komplement i köket..

Bit of a learning curve - blade got “stuck” to the body a few times. However once that was worked out it’s a great tool to have in the kitchen. Prefer to use protective hand gloves than the holder provided.
