Using this with a Raspberry Pi running Home Assistant. Managed to adapt it to the case I wanted to use. If you haven't got a USB extension cable, worth ordering one at same time.... Then you can plug the male/male adaptor (that should go between the Pi and this board) into this board and the USB extension so that you can setup the mSSD easily from your PC without having to buy other hardware.

Running fast and reliable UASP with Kingston MSata Drives
I have 4 of these running a Kubernetes cluster with Kingston MSata drives rack-mounted with 4 x Raspberry Pi 4 8Gb with PoE HAT. The drives are recognised as UASP and running very fast and reliably so far. A great inexpensive solution with good performance.

Extension pour raspberry pi 4 bien pensée et qui ne m'a pas encore claqué entre les doigts. SSD reconnu directement sans besoin d'alimentation supplémentaire (TS128GMSA230S)

... ASM1153 stabil. Dieser Adapter funktioniert einwandfrei (getestet mit aktuellem raspi4 aarch64 Linuxkernel 5.6.7). Positiv zu erwähnen ist die gute PCB Qualität sowie das onboard mini Schaltnetzteil, das 3,3V für die mSATA zur Verfügung stellt. Man wird wahrscheinlich in der config.txt folgenden Parameter brauchen, je nachdem wieviel Strom die mSATA card zieht: "max_usb_current=1". Ohne diese Einstellung liefert der RPI4 max. 600mA. Es wäre schön, wenn der USB Adapter, der die beiden Platinen verbindet, einen Schutzdeckel zwecks Vermeidung von Kurzschlüssen hätte.

wer einen Raspberry einsetzt und sich nicht auf mikroSD Karten verlassen möchte und zusätzlich eine bessere Schreib-/Leseperformance benötigt, ist mit diesem Adapter gut beraten. Allerdings muss man schon ein wenig im Internet recherchieren, welche Schritte notwendig sind, um den Pi direkt von der SSD zu starten. Zu beachten ist, dass man die richtige Version für seinen Pi ersteht, es gibt nämlich Unterschiede zwischen PI 3 und 4. Allerdings sind manche Konfigurationen "herausfordernd", abhängig vom Betriebssystem und der Kombination LAN/WLAN uzusammen mit einer SSD

Fonctionne bien.

Je pensais l'utiliser avec un boîtier Raspberry Pi avec afficheur 7". Comme cela est plus épais, je ne peux pas mettre la coque de protection arrière. Sinon, cela fonctionne parfaitement depuis plusieurs mois avec un SSD 120GB dans une station domotique Domoticz.
