TRIUMPH NSS-8XLT 8000Lbs 4 Post Storage Service Lift Oversized

I had nothing but problems at the start with this purchase. The initial delivery the tracks arrived bent and unusable. Contact with the company was fast, easy and very prompt replies. We agreed that new tracks would be sent out and I would swap over the pump and cables.Second set of tracks arrived. The track the pump attaches to was an older style and not compatible with the hardware from the initial lift I received. Again a email, phone call and prompt replies and contact from the company was received. A 3rd delivery for another track was sent out.The track was received, straight and ready to be assembled! Almost 3 months after ordering it was finally able to be used!The lift is easy to assemble, adjust and operate. It was a huge headache and hassle getting this thing from day one but turned out to be completely worth it! Whether a utv, car, suv or full size truck, it has been on this lift and performed as expected. This is a perfect lift for a home garage with non-continuous daily usage.As for the 3 star review, ultimately this isn’t a 5 star lift. It’s a solid lift but has room for improvements. The caster kit I think should have upgraded wheels as the ones that came with the lift are small in comparison to other lifts I’m familiar with. Track width is also a bit narrower than others I’ve used. A 220v option I would have loved as my garage was set for a 220v lift. It is sent with NO instructions. It’s pretty straightforward but I did find instructions online that I referred to throughout the assembly. Next time I’m in the market for a lift I’ll explore other options as I think there are many comparable priced, better lifts out there.

Overall, as advertised with the good and bad in most of the other reviews.This did not come with instructions - I knew this from the other reviews so no venom here. I was able to assemble this by myself in about 4 hours with some help from some furniture dollies moving one end of the runways at a time - I am fairly stout and can easily lift 250 pounds. The lift needed some minor modifications to some of the steel that was bent and misshapen on the dollies and some drilled holes with some burrs and shavings that needed cleaned out. I had to replace some hardware that came loose during transport. I am good with mechanical things and was able to figure out how to put it together just by looking at it, but there a few videos on YouTube with similar lifts that you could use for guidance. This appears to be a good homeowner/hobbyist lift and I doubt that it would hold up in a professional shop, but it does not claim to be anything more than a hobbyist tool.Once assembled and adjusted/leveled, it lifted our 7800 pound SUV with no issues or strain.

I've owned this for almost a year now and have been pretty happy. My two issues are (1) one of my runways came slightly bent (it's really annoying but it doesn't seem effect the function of the lift) and (2) I question the 110v/20amp advertised rating... The motor always blows my dedicated 110v/20amp circuit breaker and if you read on the motor spec decal attached to the hydraulic pump it actually says 110v/30amp. Just be aware you might need a larger circuit breaker. Also, as others have stated, some of the parts are extremely heavy. Having assembly help is definitely nice but I was able to setup/take down twice by myself by using a shop crane.

Expected no instructions but didn't expect lots of missing or wrong size hardware. Visit to the hardware store with a long list of bolt and nuts needs solved that. No way to evaluate any damage to the lift due to shipping or poor quality from the factory given the way everything was packed together for shipment. Several bolts holding the shipping end frames were missing making the entire unassembled package unstable. Upon assembly I found that one of the ramps was bent. Picture attached. Had I been able to determine that when I picked up the unit it would have been returned. This is not my first lift and assembly was about what I expected. However the bent ramp made it difficult to square everything up. Also noticed that the paint on the unit is bubbling off due to poor surface prep with signs of rusting already starting. Only positive note is that it did lift my Miata for storage purposes. Overall look, feel and quality is very disappointing. I would not recommend this product. Pay a few bucks more and get something decent.

As others have said it arrived with absolutely no paper work. If you are buying a car lift I would hope that you have some mechanical ability. It took me about 5 hours to assemble by myself. It's very straight forward. It's heavy so be prepared for that. I have had it for a few weeks and have had everything from Yukon XLs, Cherokees, Corvettes and Kias . Jobs are so much easier and faster. My only complaint is why did I wait so long to buy one.

Love the life ,but had a track not welded properly I contacted company and they shipped one out that day. It works perfectly now.

Lots of work, but doable. I'm pretty smart and very mechanically inclined, but HEAVY PARTS!PRO Tip: don't put the temp stops in and forget them WHILE RAISING IT-YOU CAN DIE.Before you operate it: Make DAMNED sure the cables are all on the right pulleys.

Great lift. Worth every penny and more! Shipping SUCKS but thats on the freight company. Freight company is not capable of delivering to weekend warriors. So be prepared to spend more time and money to actually get this thing in your garage or shop.
