Different from my other Mason Cash bowl, but still a nice bowl. Great vendor!
This bowl (on the right) does not match the color or detail of my first Mason Cash cane bowl (on the left). The details of the design are less sharp, and the maker’s mark on the bottom is less defined as well. It did come with a “company sticker” on the bottom, but the usual cardboard identifying tag on the rim was not present. The interior finish is also a slightly different color. All of that said, I am keeping the bowl, because it’s a nice bowl anyway, and this size and color have been hard to find lately. Also, I have had three of these bowls arrive broken from three different stores/vendors. This seller was AWESOME about immediately replacing the damaged bowl, and they did not charge me for shipping. I’m just wondering if Mason Cash has changed the manufacturing company they use, resulting in the differences, or if my second bowl is not authentic.

Arrived Intact, Comparatively Light 1.115 Kg Weight
I ordered this bowl to replace an old "Made in China" bowl of about the same capacity, which had developed a hairline crack. Many other reviewers have remarked that the Mason Cash Bowl 9.5" is light weight. On my kitchen scale it weighs 1.115 Kg. The bowl that it is replacing weighs 1.65 Kg, nearly 50% heavier.I intend to use the bowl exclusively for mixing dough for breads and pizza crusts. If it a disappointment in use, I will comment further. But my first impression is that the bowl is beautiful.

Chipped easily
Love these bowls and ordered a set of 3. Sadly, this one chipped while washing with a very gentle bump on a plate. I wish customer service would stand behind and replace this product. There are expensive, and will not last as I imagined.

Absolutely NOT the quality this brand is (was) known for.
I am a home hobbyist cook. I know my equipment, and I have my preferences and idiosyncrasies like anyone. I have kitchen implements that are older than me, that I love. I have modern do-thingies that I love too. But one thing I expect, especially when paying TOP dollar for it, is a quality product, made well, and made to do more than look pretty on a shelf.Mason Cash no longer lives up to these expectations. They look pretty, but they're thin, fragile, chip and break easily, and are clearly NOT made to be used in a real working kitchen. They do, however look lovely sitting still on a shelf. If you actually cook or bake, choose something else.

The Perfect Everyday Mixing Bowl
This little gem is the perfect mixing bowl for everyday use. With its capacity of just over two quarts, it is ideal to use for whipping up just about anything. The bowl itself is sturdy and easy to handle, with a white interior that makes it easy to see how things are shaping up. Dishwasher safe, too.

Great bowl for the price
I love the neutral tone of this bowl. It blends in with all my other bowls and dishes. It has some weight but not too heavy for my arthritic hands to manage. It is large enough for a nice size salad or several servings of vegetables. I am very pleased

Broken bowl
Unfortunately the bowl arrived with a large crack in it. The box was undamaged but there wasn't enough packing to protect against bumps along the way. I have returned the bowl which is a shame as apart from the crack it looked lovely.

I knew I could rely on the name
I am replacing an old Rayware basin that I have had for at least 30 years. My old basin developed a crack, but I can't complain as it has seen a lot of use. These basins just feel 'right'! Wether mixing, straining, serving (I've used mine as a salad bowl before now) or even as a fruit bowl, they just are beautiful.

Stylish retro mixing bowl
The original and still the best mixing bowl - remember my mother having one which she used all the time - don’t know where it went but it’s long gone! Stylish and retro it looks great in the kitchen and does the job well. I have the 2 pint one which is big enough for a standard sponge cake. Love it
