UPDATE: Lowered to two stars after 3 months of use. The button to move up through my station settings is now practically useless. I press it 5 to 8 times and if it still doesn't work I just have to use the button to cycle down through the stations. Once the down button stops working, the radio will be junk.Original Review: I think the reception is excellent. My 5-star sound rating is only for news, sports and religious talk radio. I don't listen to music on the radio so can't comment on that. It's so small that it's great to just stick it in my pocket and practically forget about it. I can use the buttons for volume and selecting stations through the material on my jeans. My main concern is that after a couple of months, the button to move UP through the preset stations doesn't always work. If the other buttons get like this, the radio will be almost useless. The only other concern is just a little irritating: When you move from FM to AM, the previous AM station plays. But when you move back to FM, it is always on the lowest FM number and you have to go through your stations again to get to the one you want.

I live in a busy area with service everywhere for everything. The reception on this portable radio is AWFUL. I wanted to like it but the signal goes in and out depending on where I have it. Way too annoying and unreliable. Wanted to like it so bad!!

It’s super cool, my eight-year-old loves it, but noticed when trying to save the stations, it will not go above FM station 100 and there are two radio stations that we listen to that are above that and it absolutely will not store them.

I bought this to replace a differently branded, but identical in look, radio that had a poor battery life. It would barely last an hour workout session before I had to recharge it. This Jesson unit has a far superior battery in it. I initially charged it and it still has a 2/3 charge after five 45-minute walking sessions. Even though I purchased mine for $10 (a great deal), this is still a nice little unit for double the price.

I bought this radio to listen to while working, I'm able to receive all the stations I want to listen to at the touch of a button. The rechargeable battery is so much more economical than buying all the batteries I did for my last radio. The earbuds don't produce high-quality sound, but I go through those quickly anyway from use because they're fragile. I will buy another one of these radios when necessary.

Radio actually worked very good! Wouldn't;t pick up the one radio station I wanted to listen to!

Loved it for the 6 months it worked before one of the channels stopped working. Tried various earphones to see if it was those causing the problem----all to no avail. If it was only that the radio lapsed to mono I would not complain but sound only came thru one bud no matter what I tried. I used it while walking and the non working channel is very distracting.

This is a good little radio, for its size the signal is good. Up in the mountains it works great. I ran this thing threw the washing machine , set it on a sunny window sill for a day then for a day up on a shelf by the wood stove. I was very happy it still works great.

Received faster than expected, it was easy to use, love it!
