Having a six year old Jack Russell Terrier that is an incessant barker and a 6 month old male Rottweiler puppy, this device immediately attracts the dogs’ attention to the noise and to me, the one who is holding the barking control device. I quickly give them a shhhhh for the Jack Russell Terrier and her protege, the Rottie pup, whose breed is not given to barking like terriers. My husband and I use it as a training tool to get the attention of the puppy who wants to be friends with our elderly cat, who has no interest to return the friendship. Very quick response to the device in training and reinforce positive behavior while breaking old bad habits for the Jack Russell Terrier. My only regret is that I didn’t buy the device sooner and that I didn’t buy two so that my husband and I both have the devices by our sides. I am ASTOUNDED by the quick results and their compliant behavior. This is a winner for training two different aged dogs of two different innate skill sets. I am really impressed.The device itself is sturdy enough for long term use and requires little or no practice or instruction before using. Wow. Simply wow.

Despite the hundreds of positive reviews I read across various brands of these devices, I was still skeptical. I purchased this particular brand only because it had the fastest shipping and I was at my wit’s end with my dog. I have a chihuahua/jack russell mix who goes crazy at the sight of strangers or other dogs. He’s not aggressive, it’s mostly just excitement, but his attitude makes other people (and some dogs) nervous, on top of being annoying. We recently moved from a house to an apartment where there are a lot of other dogs and people, so his barking problem became a real problem and I was getting desperate. My dog is 6 years old (I’ve had him for 3) so this barking has been a lifelong issue of his...and after ONE DAY using this he is an entirely different dog. I did have to press it several times yesterday to get him to understand that it was going to happen every time, but by the end of the day he went from going crazy with uncontrollable barking and pulling on his leash, to being able to calmly walk past another dog with no barking. I also love that I was able to get him to understand his behavior was not ok in a way that didn’t cause him any harm. So yes, if you’re skeptical, just try it.

I like how quickly this worked on quieting my dogs. They constantly bark when someone come to the house and inside , even if it’s just me it takes a while to quiet them down. I think the sound startled them enough to go silent. It’s interesting. I can hear a sound when I press the button but I’m sure it’s a lot stronger on their wavelength. The light comes on so I know it’s on when I press the button. It takes 4 triple a batteries.

Let me start by saying that I shop on Amazon on a weekly, if not daily, basis. I am more than satisfied with most of my purchases, however, I rarely leave a review.We have one dog who is not a constant barker, but goes crazy when anyone walks past our fence. We live on the corner near the community mailbox, so it gets pretty obnoxious. A month ago we adopted a cute little mixed breed from a local rescue. He is literally the perfect dog...except that he is a yapper. I swore I would never own a yappy dog (they are SO annoying)...well look at me now. UGH.My husband and I really enjoy sitting on our back porch and sipping coffee while we watch the birds and squirrels (and the dogs try to stalk them). We had to find a solution ASAP.This item arrived Tuesday night. We put in the batteries and went to bed anxious to try it over coffee on the porch the next morning. YOU GUYS...IT WORKS!!!! As someone approached, they assumed their position In the corner (so they could bark at them for the length of the fence). I hit the button for less than 2 seconds. BOTH dogs stopped in their tracks and ran to my side (one even jumped in my lap). This morning when their least favorite neighbor walked by, it only required one small pulse. They both sat at our sides. They did grumble a bit, but with our encouragement they were able to control themselves.We could not be happier, seriously! I may even gift this to some neighbors with barkers.

I have a cocker spaniel. Just like most cocker spaniels, she barks whenever someone walks by my door. I had a hard time training her. This device, together with positive reinforcements helped me train her not to bark at my neighbors. It’s still a working progress. I’m hoping this will work long term . Will keep updating the results. So far, four stars!

I like that this remote lights up green and beeps so you know it’s working. Then the dogs sound follows. I have it on the loud setting, I use it for my dog as she always barks. She comes running back when I press it. Great gadget.

This simple device works wonders on my dog!. He is overall very well behaved and isn't very vocal most of the time, until recently. I don't care to really ever have him bark unless someone actually is outside my house. This thing corrects his unwanted barking instantly. I was skeptical that it would even work but I am impressed! Be warned, I have a friend that has a dog and he doesn't really seem to be bothered by it. His ears will kinda twitch but he continues on with whatever he is barking at. Maybe some dogs just don't care? I'm excited it works for mine and I don't have to go through the hassle of putting a collar on him like other products. My only gripe would be, I wish there was an actual on/off button so little kids can't accidentally hit the button and confuse my dog. Not a big deal but maybe it could be added to the next version.

It's like a control remote of my dog in training! Works perfectly inside of my apartment. My dog is a dalmatian mix of 6 months old. Is easy to use and includes a lanyard. I use it on my room if Emma is barking on the living room this bark control device works perfectly! Definitely I'm highly recommend this high quality device.
