This is what you need to keep your K and N filter properly cleaned and oiled. Be reminded this is not a quick procedure to do. You must follow the instructions. My experience is to save your old filter while you perform the steps required, this way you can still drive your vehicle while you wait. After you wash the filter and rinse completely you have to let it dry. I place mine in front of a fan overnight, or you could place it over an air vent in the house. After I spray the oil on it, no need to over oil it, I also leave it sitting on edge for the excess oil to run out overnight. The next day I lighty dab any excess oil bubbles off. Too much oil could foul sensors. Now you place it back in the vehicle and your good for 10000 miles depending on your driving conditions.

Well quite a bit of the the liquid in spray bottle came out in box & box was soaked with it, other than that all ok

K & N air filters are the best every time I go get an oil change they say you better change your filter. And I said oh no I have a K & N. I have not bought an air filter in 20 years just clean this one and spray it to recharge it.

K&N Power Kleen does an excellent job of cleaning my filters. K&N oil also functions as it should, my filters are always pink when I take them off the next time to clean them. I have used other filter oil in the past and when I take my filters off to clean them, there is no evidence of the oil still being on the filter. I only use K&N products now.
