Nihongo Daijobu!: Elementary Japanese Through Practical Tasks Book 1 (Japanese Edition)

I find it helpful when it comes to understanding day-to-day Japanese conversations. This is coming from someone who doesn't speak any Japanese at all.

初級の中頃まで別のテキストで勉強した人にこのテキストを使ってみました。どんなことができるようになるためにこれを勉強しなければならないか、ということが明確で、復習としても良かったです。かわいいイラスト、文の形の整理の仕方など、ビジュアルな部分がよくできているなあと思いました。別冊の内容も充実していて、文化的な情報や必要な語彙もまとめられていて、助かります。

I found the "Nihongo Daijobu" Series to be an excellent learning tool for non-native speakers learning Japanese. The best part is that it is very dynamic, interactive and stimulating: the book lead to a meaningful improvement in my Japanese communication skills, and was noted by my Japanese sensei. It therefore forces the reader to think to express his/herself in Japanese, helping reinforce and retain the material contained in the lessons. Highly recommended!
