KDLinks is going to sell a lot of A 100s when the word gets out
Been playing with the KDLinks A 100 for about a week. It's like having a 55" IceCream 4.1 Samsung tablet in the living room. I'm using the wireless connection and it's streaming everything I throw at it, i.e., 1080 MKV, HBOGo, ShoGo, DirectTV, Netflixs, all my avi files and XBMC. My wireless router is the Asus 660N and the A 100 is connected via home network at 76MBsHDMI features works well; nothing else is needed to get surround sound, except in my case, it may be time to upgrade the antiquated Denon AVR to handle newer CodeX files via sound device pass-through features offered on the A 100. All other sound device options are working wonderfully.Everything listed in the Product Features is spot on. For my input device, I'm using the Logitech Mini keyboard I used with my old Google Revue. I like the option of having a keyboard versus using an on screen keyboard and it's working better on the A 100 than it did on the Revue. The A 100 is fast, the browsing is without delay. Streaming through a web browser is a little out of audio sync when adobe flash is required, i.e., Amazon Prime or something like GBTV. However, this is not an A 100 issue; it's the websites wishing to alienate 70% of their viewers by not developing an android app or switching to html5.I'm looking forward to the Ice Cream 4.2.2 upgrade coming out soon; in addition, I don't think it will be too long before XDA adds this device to their CyanogenMod Nightlies, not that it is needed. Naturally, rooting would void the warranty, but it's always an option if KDLinks falls behind in software development like Samsung.Overall, out of the box, I'm very satisfied with my KDLinks A 100 purchase. In my opinion, it beats all the other streaming devices currently available in both features and performance. Outside of hooking a PC with a $400 video card to the flat screen, it does not get much better than an A 100 smart box.Update:Just finished upgrading to Ice Cream 4.2.2 for HDMI. The developer made a significant improvement by adding HDMI audio pass-through. Now when using a browser requiring Adobe Flash, the audio is in sync with the video. I couldn't be happier. I'm sure there are other improvements in the upgrade yet to discover.

With new firmware and monthly XMBC works great
For the first several weeks I wasn't sure about the A100. Sure Netflix plays well but I still can't navigate it very well. If the videos you want to watch are off the screen to the right you simply can't scroll to them to watch. You can scroll but none of the thumbnails update. Moreover, hulu plus won't play at all. I simply get an error message while audio plays fine. Weird. Also, out of the box XBMC stutters with HD video. That all said, when I upgraded to the latest firmware 4.2.2 and updated XBMC to the latest monthly (August 30th I believe) XBMC now plays HD video very very well. For my main use as an XBMC client I am very happy. I wish navigating netflix worked better but I can chose a show on my phone and then it will show up on the menu where I can access it so that is ok. Once I can get netflix working better I'll give it 5 stars.

Great Media Player and even better customer support.
I just got my A100 Media Player delivered. It took about 15 minutes to install and that included the WiFi setup. The unit is far faster than the WD TV Live, that I replaced. I was not happy with the speed and constantly locking up that the Western Digital product experienced.I went to the KDLINKS website and asked a couple questions about there product line. This was 1:00 in the morning Eastern Daylight time. I got a return email within minutes. It was amazing. Within a couple of emails they, (Eric), answered all of my questions and even made some helpful suggestions on which unit I should buy, based on my current needs.I hooked up a media hard drive to the A100 and it works flawlessly. This is an extremely versatil and especially quick Media Player. I strongly recommend this Media Player, especially at the current price.

Great way to make your TV smart!!!
The KDLINKS A100 couldn't perform better. Installing was simple because there really is none. Hook the HDMI cable to your TV plug in the provided power adapter, and your done. I have mine hard wired for greatest connectivity but I am sure the Wi-Fi would work great as well, provided your router and internet speed are up for streaming. All the great apps are available through the play store and firmware updates are provided through the KDLINKS website. I recommend doing the firmware update as soon as you hook this up. The device will go from Android 4.1.1 to 4.2.2 and clean up the interface. Other than that an optional keyboard is nice if you plan on surfing the web and I prefer a tablet look so I added Nova Launcher after setting up but it a personal preference.I would highly recommend anyone looking for a device to stream web content to get the KD Links A100. You get much more hardware with this over the Android sticks and it comes with a remote.

Nice HDMI Android Box.
I love this little box, I have had it over 6 to 7 months, I got a wireless keyboard for it and it works perfect, only problem I have is sometimes when I watch Netflix it freezes up all the way to were I have to unplug it wait 10 secs and plug it back in and sometimes it happens rite again after I unplug and plug it back up, it is very irritating! I REALLY wish it did not do that. Maybe it is getting too hot but I do not have anything on it or around it, so I am not sure. If the person see this that I got it from please email me so we can work this problem out. Thanks everyone and hope this helps. Also it does pause my Netflix movies while I am watching them and pops up where would you like you tube to be media, social, other, etc. That is another annoying thing I DO NOT LIKE, it might just be a setting on that not sure, if anyone has any info on that please contact me, thanks.
