WILSON Synthetic Gut Power 17G Reel

Great Strings, durable and responsive

Best price anywhere. Exactly what I was looking for, and a great great price point. They charge three times that at the tennis shop.

This is a good alternative to use while you still want to hit some tennis while you deal with elbow and maybe shoulder issues. I string this very loose (38 lbs) and was able to make adjustments in a few weeks in my tennis form to still have control. If you really need to finally get over tennis elbow, put this string on and play with it for a while on low tension and you notice no elbow pain afterwards. So, this will give you the time needed for your elbow to recover while still getting some tennis in. The black set wears nicely (will lose the black color to show where you are hitting the ball on your racket) as it gets a little bit rough adding a little more bite for some spin control in your shots. The blue set doesn't wear like this. I compared both and found that I could never get the control with the blue set like I did with the black.

Very good standard string. Reliable performance and easy to string. One of my go to basic synthetic guts.

Great value in this price range, good feel, after many tries of different strings, I found this one works best for my swing- combination of power transfer to ball, ball placement. Btw I string to 52 lb.

Arrived immediately

I recently purchased these tennis strings and had them strung on my racket at a tension of 53 lbs. After a solid 2-hour practice session, I noticed that the center of the strings turned white, indicating some wear. While this discoloration is common with many strings due to the friction and pressure from regular play, it was somewhat surprising to see it manifest so quickly. On the positive side, the strings held their tension well throughout the session, and there was no noticeable impact on performance or playability, which was a big plus. The strings provide good control and make you feel comfortable during play. For players considering these strings, keep in mind that while they perform well, the aesthetic wear can be apparent early on. This might not be a deal-breaker for everyone, but if you prefer strings that maintain their look longer, you might want to explore other options. Overall, these strings offer decent value for their price, especially if performance is your primary concern.

The best gut power. String quality is amazing. My husband plays hard, no soft balls here, and the quality is amazing.

Es la mejor cuerda Synthetic gut del mercado. La uso como parte de encordado híbrido en las crosses en 16g. La recomiendo ampliamente
