Huel is not bad of a product.
I am giving you five stars. One is for the package. It was packaged carefully, and there was no leakage or spoilage of food product. It was not compromised. Two is it was easy to order on the Amazon site. When I ordered directly on Huel site I had complications and would to make a new account to order Huel products again. After just ordering one time it deleted my account causing me to make a new account.Three is for convenience of the Huel product. It is great for people who are either low-income, don't have time to prepare food, or trying to adjust their healthy to good levels. Four is the taste. I like the chocolate taste, but do you have a two bag special that is not Vanilla or Chocolate.Five, is the texture. Yes, I agree with that the texture is not great with other users, but it all comes down to adjusting the liquid with powder. Try to use it with different liquid substitutes other than water. I might order the product again,However I am concern with the package delivery. Looking at the other consumer pictures is not reassuring. My experience is good so far for the first order. Thank you.

Damaged
Bags came open, powder everywhere, in a Home Depot box. Would not recommend.

No scoop
Ordered and just received but the bags have no scoop in either bag. So having to wing serving sizes from use with my protein powder scoop

Super filling
Great taste, but you better have an actual blender to mix it. Once mixed however, it stays uniform. No need to shake or store. I make a few days worth at a time and just pour it from tub, with no further mix necessary, even after days.

Only shipped half of my order
This posting clearly states that it ships two bags for 3kg of product. I recieved one bag or 1.5kg

Not bad, but not something you'll reach for without reason
I got two bags of Huel Black edition - one chocolate and one vanilla, though I got them directly from the Huel website instead of Amazon.I think if Huel really fills the role of what you're looking for, it's pretty good. It's like Slim Fast with a focus on protein and nutritional content assuming you'll be eating balanced meals, but fewer/smaller ones. The overall texture of Huel is pretty bad. It tastes like if you blended up really runny cream-of-wheat, or like lumpy kefir maybe. I usually let it sit in the fridge overnight, which Huel recommends to improve the texture. It ends up with a relatively runny consistency, but kind of stick-to-itself/viscous texture that is reminiscent of snot. There are really small bits in the mix, but they're so tiny and coated with the gel-liquid that you can't feel/taste them.Neither the chocolate or vanilla had very strong flavors of chocolate/vanilla. Again, I'd say the overall flavor is most similar to plain cream-of-wheat where you added some coco powder but were really worried it would be too strong. It's not bad, but it's not tasty. It does do a good job of leaving you feeling satiated, though I wouldn't go as far as 'full'. Usually I would eat lunch around 12-1pm if I had a small breakfast. I can pretty easily have 2 scoops of huel that I start around 9am and finish around 10/11am, and not feel like I need to eat until (a relatively early) dinner around 4:30-5:30pm.Overall for the flavor I'd say it's less tasty than something like Slim-Fast or even Ensure, but does a much better job of leaving you full instead of feeling like you need to eat again 30 minutes later. You can also improve the flavor of Huel quite a bit by experimenting with different combinations, could be as simple as adding some coco powder, blending it with a banana/frozen fruit, adding some yogurt, etc.Because of that I feel like it does a bit less than it claims to do, hence the 3 stars. But it does a good job of its core claim - keeping you full while providing a healthy balance of macro and micronutrients.

huel, soylent, or ka'chava?
I've been into this meal replacement thing for about three years now, started with soylent, and then tried huel. and finally kachava. i typically make a smoothie every morning with one of these meal replacements. it consists of the vanilla flavor on all different brands. with water and a tablespoon of powdered Hershey's chocolate. (the chocolate flavor of all these brands just kinda sucks IMO). and I've been doing this for about 3 years every morning. i will break down each brand briefly. Soylent: smooth and soft texture. has the most neutral and adaptable flavor. it is also the cheapest, but taste kinda synthetic, and not quite confident it's "healthy". but soylent takes a 4.5/5... soylent is about 1.90 a serving. Huel: kinda grainy texture, and has a plan and plant taste (not perceptively appealing, although, I can enjoy this taste much more in the long run compared to soylent and kachava), but i feel this is much healthier than soylent. (on par with kachava as far as health) 4/5. hule is about 2.30 cents a serving. ka'chava: sadly i got this hoping i could explore it more and incorporate it with the other two. the texture is very similar to huel, but it's been loaded with some sweetener that just overwhelms anything you do to make a tame drink. (i can't do this flavor every day compared to the other two.) but this is somewhat a bias on my part because I don't like sweet things very much. so if you like sweet smoothies, godspeed. also, kachava is the most expensive for the least amount of food. at about 3$ a serving. 3/5. 4/5 if you like sweets, and can afford them. i typically do a 2/1 ratio of soylent(2) heul(1). with chocolate and water in my smoothies. I have tried putting kachava into this portioning, but it almost obstructs the taste at any level. kachava has to be about 1/7th of the ratio for it to be neutral enough of a flavor without it disturbing the flavor with excessive sweetness. anyway hope this helps with your decision-making with these meal supplements. :)
