OK, so this is well made and coming from the UK, arrives in a couple of days. It is not a FFP3 mask which would be needed to filter out COVID-19 but FFP3 masks are hard to use, hard to breath in and require regular filter replacement. For men, they need to be used within 2h of a shave. It is not a FFP2 mask either, but they also need replacement filters regularly and won't filter the virus anyway so no better than this. This mask should help reduce the amount of virus the wearer coughs out, and it is hoped would reduce the viral load getting in by keeping larger droplets from a cough or sneeze at bay or preventing accidental mouth/nose touching. An infection started with a higher viral load is said to be a possible factor in getting a severe case of COVID-19, so this may be worth wearing.Please note, my logic above has come from watching BBC News and is just explaining my reasoning. I suggest you take note of proper news sources to develop your own thinking as I have done.Please also note this mask only has a single layer of lining, not a double lining as stated in the product title on Amazon (at time of posting). One star lost for that. Also, the picture is poor. In reality this is a standard triple pleat design and fits well.

I love this mask. It is very well-made, comfortable to wear, and I love the feel of the fabric.However, don't forget that this is a beautiful dust mask. It is lovely and comfortable to wear when cleaning, but I would not feel safe wearing the mask in the hopes of protecting me from a virus. Because of its design, it fits quite loosely and it is only 2 slim layers - outer faux sued and cotton lining.Washes well and still looks good, but the elastic strap does become a little loose after a couple of washes - easily fixed with a knot.Overall, I could not in all honesty recommend this mask to anyone looking for anti-virus protection, but it is not meant for that. Wear it as a dust mask and enjoy it.

I like the fabric of this mask. It is good quality and washes well. My only gripe is the elastic ear loops. They are too big for me (will suit some people). I tried tying knots in them and crossing them over but both options didn't work well for me. Finally I resorted to shortening the elastic but it wasn't a great success. The masks would be better if they had toggles to adjust the size of the earloops. I'd also like to suggest that filter pockets should be included.

Comfortable to wear, nice colour and nice material. very happy. people look at me in Aldi or Asda when I am there minding my own business wearing my mask, but I feel safer. we all have to do what we can. Thank you to this British Company. It is nice to not have to buy from overseas all the time. Ths is a well made product and I recommend it. Maybe not the most protective mask- I think it is fair to say we all need at least a 3 ply mask, but this is absolutely better than nothing and will give you some protection, if you follow the advice in how you take it off and clean it. (I have a hand steamer around £12, as I suffer from allergic asthma and so use this to clean surfaces ie bedding). and of course still being careful not to touch your face with your hands etc. but I feel this is helping me.

The mask is comfortable to wear felt a little loose so had to tighten the elastic ear loops. Material quite thick on the outside.I’m use to wearing surgical masks which have a metal nose support to keep the mask safely in place ...this one does not have it but would improve the design if it did also would prevent glasses steaming up.I sometimes wear a surgical one underneath for extra protection.

A couple of things I would like to see changed to this item:1- the short straps around the ears, after wearing it for a couple of minutes, the pain behind my ears was quite srong I had to remove the mask.2- adding a nose clipper installed within the cloth to prevent the steam while wearing glaces.Apart from that, the mask is well made and nice.

Ther's no wire in the top seam so will not seal around the nose. If you wear glasses, they may steam up. The saving grace is that this mask is washable. My 1st one was delivered fairly quickly but am still waiting for my second one to arrive having ordered it on the 13/4/20 - due to arrive tomorrow (21/4/20). I don't expect this mask or other masks for that matter to protect me but perhaps others if I'm unknowingly infected with Coronavirus! Wearing disposible gloves is probably more effect IF you don't touch your face!

I don't think my head is larger than normal. But this mask when worn painfully pulled my ears forward. Sadly I have cursed with big ears to start with. Coupled with a generously proportioned nose as well while wearing this mask I looked like a muffled Dumbo preparing for lift-off.I was relatively certain my weight would have kept me tethered to the ground but I think any high wind situation would have resulted in instability that would have made navigating even the widest of footpaths an issue. As such, I decided to return the item.What makes this irksome is having to pay a percentage of the postage to return the item.I would understand the issue if I were returning the mask just because, or I didn't like the design or something. But I was returning it because it simply didn't fit. The description says the mask will need stretching but realistically no amount of stretching was going to make this mask fit my head. As such, I was returning it based on fitness for purpose. I don't believe I should be penalised for the product not being fit for purpose.Only buy this mask if you are certain that you or the intended recipient's head is smaller than average or you are prepared to pay the cost to find out.
