I got some of this on my plastic trim and it left a white residue, how can I get that cleaned up or removed?

The instructions say to rinse or wipe with a damp cloth. No sure if you did that or not but that might help.

Need to clean the glue that melted off back butterfly stickers on my cane and baked onto my leather seats in the heat. How do I get the glue off??
