H.VIEW 4K Dome PoE Camera Super HD 8MP Outdoor Security Camera H.265 Encoding with Audio, 2.8mm Lens /IP66 Waterproof/Motion Detection(2 Years Warranty)

I purchased 1 of these H.view 5mp cameras and 1 x H.view 8mp camera to go with my Hikvision recorder. Images are quite good in daylight but some jagged edges in video sometimes when zoomed in. This could be protocol compatibility issues with the Hikvision recorder even though they claim to be compatible. Night vision is fair using its own led lighting but much better if you have some street lighting around the field of view. The casing is sturdy and strong and easy to install. Overall good quality for the price. My only gripe is they do not seem fully compatible with the Hikvision recorder. Remote password changes and other settings are not possible via the recorder once connected. I find Camera passwords etc do need to be set up before connecting to my Hikvision recorder. I would buy more Hview cameras if needed. I have not been able to test the motion detection yet.

Decent size , mostly metal exteriors and fairly solid. The picture is good , the h264 recording on my NAS is good quality and results in smaller file sizes than my other cameras.Apps are well functional with all the configuration options.Only main problem i get is the email sending stops sending alerts every few days so to get round this bug i scheduled the camera to reboot every day and this resets the email.

Bought this camera too add to my setup which also incudes an H.Veiw NVR. All together very easy to setup via POE which requires simply attaching a network cable between camera and NVR and few seconds later image appears with its default settings which out of the box provides very good pictures and video up to 4K. There are loads of tweaks to improve picture quality and the wide lens means the camera can be used at night in color if the street has ambient light without using the Infrared Function with great results.. This camera can also be used indoors looking out through the window (please see photos)SD

I already have an existing setup from the same brand so thought i would add this one on as a separate setup to keep it completely apart.It's setup is ridiculously simple through the instructions and power is supplied through POE (power over Ethernet.) The image is nice and clear, and i was pleasantly surprised by the upgrade in image quality from the system i bought a while back especially when it came to the night vision results.If you already have a setup at home and just want added piece of mind with a standalone unit then this is the one for you

Good 4k camera bought to complement a h.View systemNo bad points would be nice if the FOV was adjustable as its in a porch and narrow fov would be better. But very goid for price

Discovered and connected to my Diskstation using the ONVIF protocol as it didn’t have a preset for this camera. Pumps out video in H265 compression and is bright and very clear. Copes with fast moving objects like leave on trees and bushes without artefacts. Works fine on my netgear POE switch. Good field of vision and better than the Dahua camera it replaced. Very happy with it

Bought this to try out a 4k camera on our CCTV system. Unfortunately the picture is, if anything, worse than our current Trendnet HD cameras. Intallation was straight forward. Our switch has auto POE detection and as soon as the camera connected it was detected and was accessible over the network. Night vision is OK as can be seen in the pictures.

Only just tested it to see that it works seems ok now waiting to receive more cameras before i install the cctv system
