Make no mistake, this is definitely a firm/strong hold wax cream and not medium hold.Smells great (light classic cologne scent), scoops and applies easy, I get some slight tug and pull but I noticed it is mainly because of the type of pre-styler I have been using with it (Aveda texture tonic), strong hold but doesn’t dry hard or crispy, light natural finish/shine, has all day longevity, doesn’t dry out my hair or irritate my scalp and washes out super easy. I have short, wiry, wavy and naturally textured hair that is prone to flyaways and requires a firm holding hair product with all day performance. This stuff does the trick and is very impressive. Dauntless wax cream is now one of my go to dependable hair products and I highly recommend.

I was desperate for a haircut and dropped some serious coin ($60!) from this hairstylist guy who was working out his home (salon was closed), I’m usually a hit and run sports clip kinda guy. My mop looked stellar, however, I had some pretty low quality hair goo. I ordered this because it got a really good review from this you tube guy who spends waaaaay too much time on his hair. I was used to my gel telling me to f-off and proceeding to make me look like a homeless Conan O’Brien by mid-day.Today was my first day with this stuff. In the span of one day, it “pssh-ed!” after my lunch walk in 90 heat WITH a hat. And was oblivious to the do-rag, bike helmet and sweat after my ride home - just needed 7 seconds of re-situating. All this and my hair doesn’t even feel or look like a fuselage. So yea, complete the purchase!

This stuff is messy and runny. When you apply a small amount and work it in your hands, it just sticks to your hands. You can't work the product in your hair because it immediately dries to your hands. I tried adding a few drops of water to my hands and then it just clumps up. The smell instantly reminded me of my great aunt. The entire product is a waste of money.

After doing research online, I felt confident that this product would be great. However, I must have gotten a bad batch, because the product I received was unusable. It had a consistency like thick milk, and poured out of the can. When I tried to use the product, it basically turned to cement as soon as I started spreading it. I tried using a little bit in my hair, and it immediately turned solid. I had to wash my hair 4 times to get all of it out, despite the advertisement saying it is water soluble. I was really excited for this product, and I'm sure I just got unlucky, but I cannot recommend a product that has a chance of failing this hard.

I bought this a while ago after seeing YouTube reviews. What came in was not like what I thought and saw on video reviews. It was runny and goey. It dries super fast after rubbing it in your hands and to even apply it in your hair felt like it like glue. To wash it out it still feel like there's some residue there. Took a few washes to really get it out. I would not recommend this product.

I ordered this product and when I received it, it was way to creamy compared to the first one I got which was great so I emailed mike smith and he quickly got me another one sent over thats awesome customer service!!! Plus the product is great! Has great hold and gives a nice finish to the hair! One of my favorite products for sure!

I just applied on my dry hair and I can tell this product is just amazing.

It was a good product smelled really good like cologne. I'm just not a person that likes using dry products but figured i would try it out and this was really dry right out of the tub so I didn't like it. I would say it's a good product for the right person though.
