Wonderful product, delicious and slightly cheaper than fresh
Fresh strawberries cost me about £12 per kg in the UK, and this product, representing about 10X mass reduction due to freeze drying, cost about £7 per kg equivalent. And, picked fully ripe and most likely processed near the farm, the taste is absolutely delicious.I bought these to make - at my daughter's request - a "pink christmas pudding" which came out really nice. The only fruit we added was dried strawberries.

Who would have thought the freeze dried berries that our children fight over in the Special K cereals could be bought in HUGE bulk and at such a reasonable price! Yes, maybe they won't be so valued now we have so many, but I have read up on them and they are full of nutrients and it has spiced up our breakfasts!I have added them to all sorts of things apart from ready bought cereal, such as home made granola, in cakes, decorating cakes, sprinkled on ice cream and on yogurt, home made protein bars, rice Krispie bars, mixed in with fresh fruit and in smoothies.

Excellant value for money
Love this product. Fed up throwing out fresh strawberries so turned to these to help towards my 'five a day'. Easy to add to all sorts of dishes either as is, wizzed into powder or rehydrated - I soak in keffir or porridge. Looking forward to using is baking. To help keep as fresh as possible I have vacuum sealed into portions. Good shelf life - December 24, if they last that long! Will definitely buy again.

A good smoothie.
Very easy to use in smoothies, but I think it is slightly sticking together now that I have had it for some weeks, but this doesn't change the taste and makes a lovely smoothie with a banana added and fruit juice. Pleased with it.

Very tasty delight for strawberry-lovers!
Great taste, that goes very well with e.g. yoghurt. When fresh ones aren't available or you cannot afford or don't want to buy the few exported ones off-season, I think this item offers a decent comfort to all strawberry lovers. Personally, at winter time while waiting for domestic crops to ripe, I'd rather by these from Britain (I'm Scandinavian) than buy fresh from e.g. Spain.I've also tried the blueberries of the same product and I highly recommend those as well. This 150 g as such seems like a few meals, but since the product is freeze-dried, this 150 g bucket lasts easily several weeks.
