I decided to splash out and spend rather more than I wanted to on this blood pressure monitor. But after using it daily for some time I've no regrets. Its very easy to use, reliable and accurate and the cuff makes life so simple. I also love the way I can sync and log readings with my phone app to store data and monitor trends. You definitely get what you pay for and this is well worth the investment.

- Easy to set-up. - Simply, straight-forward results display. - Great App which records and tracks your results for you. - Can monitor two people = switching between them a single slide switch. -The best thing is the cuff which is so much easier to put on (correctly) than cheaper alternatives = really good. Spend £10/15 over the basic model = it is worth every penny. I am really happy with it and for someone with high blood pressure that's a good thing 😉

Bought this for my father. Given his health, I felt it was important to be able to monitor his blood pressure on a regular basis but really I think everyone should have a blood pressure monitor at home now. It is light weight, compact and comes with its own storage case so it is very easy to store. Extremely simple to use with its one main button system but a very useful manual is still provided. There are clear instructions on how to use this equipment properly and also other bits of helpful information. Results have been consistent with those obtained from the Doctors. I have actually noticed our GP using the same brand of blood pressure monitors. So this is clearly a reliable and popular brand. The price is great, I see little reason to go for a more expensive version and definitely see no reason to hesitate on buying this great little monitor.

This is very handy indeed. I'm into fitness and want to be able to see what my heart rate and BP is (obv I can count my heart rate or use other devices such as my phone) but you can only check your BP with this.. The price was excellent. I know my upper arm is around 15 inches on the left side. Intended to buy this + the extra cuff. I'm not a fat guy, fair enough I do go the gym but I'm not a roider or anything. I elieve most fully grown men have upper arms that are too big for the cuff that comes with this (be it to body fat, and I'm not talking about being overweight or muscle). I tested it at least on a female friend and it worked perfeclty. Pulse reading was accurate and blood pressure too. I do think it' silly how small the cuff and there's no option to just buy it with a large cuff. I now have to order the larger cuff but it's still a very good price and a great product. 5/5 if they gave you the option to choose cuff size instead of having to pay extra. Comes with batteries and a neat bag to store in. It's very straightforward and self explanatory to use and is probably as accurate as anything they'd use at you in a hospital (perhaps not a fast). Whether you're an athlete, have health problems or just a normal guy. You should get one of these. Jut make SURE TO GET a correct cuff size. Knowing your blood pressure is vital because you could have a problem or you could have excellent blood pressure (from doing good cardio workout).. in which case the smugness and confidence you get from it is well worth the cost.. and with the bag you can carry it around with you testing all your mates blood pressure. Make sure they're all healthy, or just to gloat how much fitter you are and be a total ****!

I have spent so many hours wasted in frustration at the GP's suffering from WCS that the very thought of a BP test had my readings through the roof: I have tried turning up 30 minutes too early so as to calm myself; tried mantras; imagining deep blue seas, all to no avail. As I'm a big bloke of a certain age (54) I knew that I had to get this boxed off as I do a lot of cycling and wanted confirmation that my BP was much better than the hyper readings gotten in the Doc's office as I sat there screaming like a 100 cordless drills gone wild. My GP was in agreement that if I could cycle 55 miles regularly in one go, then in all likelihood there wasn't that much wrong with me, but I wanted to see that confirmed in those LCD digits on the OMRON machine in her surgery. This gadget was bought solely on price, make and reviews. Arrived very quick to NI too. I did buy the larger cuff (thank you reviewers) and am glad I did as I have quite large arms from all the ground pounding on the bike, but I do heartily agree that OMRON ought to offer it as a choice. Bottom line is after two readings 8 hours apart, I have the results I knew were there all along but due to my infantile insistence on psychologically believing that I was in the headmasters office as opposed to the Doc's, could only glimpse after 4 to 5 visits to the health centre in a month. (on one occasion, the healthcare assistant open the door, took one look at me and said, "No, no chance Tom, not today". He knew just by looking at me I was in a screamer!!! I'm delighted with this device. So very happy that it's confirmed what I always suspected. So very happy that all the decent food and thousands of miles cycled each year has paid off and made a huge improvement to my health. One thing did surprise me was the instructional insistence on getting ones position absolutely bang on for the machine to do its work right. Device packs away into very small space in neat little bag. Buy with confidence, but get the bigger cuff.

My mum is not long out of hospital and was diagnosed with high blood pressure and was given tablets to take for it. rather than have a district nurse come out and do it weekly i thought as i am a staff nurse i would buy a monitor and do it for her. i ordered it on fri teatime and it arrived sat morning. i took my mums blood pressure immediately and it was sky high. i did everyone else in the family and that was normal and then retook my mums,still dangerously high. i contacted nhs 24 and they sent a dr to see her. he took my mums blood pressure and it was still high and he asked to use mine,probably just checking that mine was reliable,which it was,it was exactly the same reading as the dr got with his. he prescribed another HBP medicine for her. im not recommending that everybody should be taking their own blood pressure and diagnosing themselves without medical consultation,the point i am making is that without this device i wouldnt have known my mums blood pressure was at a seriously high level.This machine is fantastic, easy to use and well worth the money. i see from other comments that they say the cuff was too small but in my case its a perfect size, first class service. would highly recommend this brilliant machine. well done. cant thank you enough

Great quality works really well

I bought this after I had my first ever high BP reading. After this, I read a lot of media and medical stuff about how BP readings are often high when done by medics and nurses in surgeries because patients are anxious. In fact, a lot of people are misdiagnosed and treated unnecessarily for high BP for this reason. Apparently, it is far more sensible to monitor one's own BP at home in a relaxed state, for an accurate reading. Indeed, turns out my high reading was a one-off, thank goodness, undoubtedly due to anxiety and my having rushed to an appointment. I wasn't even aware I was stressed - just felt a bit tense 'cause of the circumstances and rush. This purchase was well worth it to discover that I was perfectly fine and to confirm this with several subsequent readings. Thoroughly recommended - really easy to use and comforting to own at a very reasonable price. Peace of mind and a sensible way of keeping track of BP - for whatever reason.

A mi madre se le rompió su antiguo tensiómetro, también un Omron, después de 9 años, y como este es el que he regalado también a otros miembros de la familia y sé que funciona muy bien, pues se lo compré a ella también. Es ideal para personas mayores porque sólo tiene un botón. Bueno, tiene otro para las memorias, pero el funcionamiento básico es con el botón azul grande, no tiene pérdida y cualquiera lo aprende a manejar en dos minutos. Es más rápido y sencillo de manejar que el modelo que tenía antes, y para lo que ella necesita, es perfecto. Pero lo mejor es el precio, es bastante más barato en Amazon que en otras tiendas.

Omron è un marchio leader nel settore dell'automazione pneumatica industriale e elettromedicale. Fa anche ottimi prodotti come gli sfigmomanometri portatili. Questo modello è solido, con materiali di ottima fattura, facile da usare per chiunque (anche da soli) e anche piuttosto preciso. Le rilevazioni effettuate sono risultate sempre molto vicine a quelle fatte con apparecchi manuali a colonna di mercurio. C'è una leggera sottostima della massima, nell'ordine dei 3-4 punti, molto poco per un apparecchio portatile. La minima è invece perfetta. Ci sarebbe da segnalare la mancanza del libretto di istruzioni in italiano poiché in inglese, ma è talmente facile da usare che non se ne sente il bisogno. Peccato che l'alimentatore non sia incluso ma è comunque fornito di quattro batterie stilo che dovrebbero durare per 300 misurazioni. Visto il prezzo e la qualità di tale apparecchiatura non c'è da lamentarsi. Rileva anche pulsazioni e eventuali aritmie ma non posso giudicare se le segnala o no, non soffrendo di tali patologie (per mia fortuna, c'è da dire). Custodia morbida inclusa ma visto che il tasto per farla partire è sporgente, esiste la possibilità che si avvii involontariamente se è stata infilata malamente nella custodia. Per risolvere il problema era meglio una custodia più rigida. PRO: -Misurazioni precise e affidabili -Costruzione robusta, di qualità elevata per la categoria di prezzo -Semplicità di utilizzo per chiunque -Non ultimo, prezzo ottimo CONTRO: -Massima leggermente sottostimata, 3-4 punti -Libretto non in italiano (ma è possibile, per chi volesse, trovarlo sul sito Omron -Custodia morbida di ottima fattura ma che, vista la forma del pulsante di avvio, non ne previene accidentali partenze se l apparecchiatura è inserita come capita. In definitiva, dato il costo e la qualità della apperecchio nonché la precisione della misurazione, da comprare senza pensarci troppo. Ottimo il venditore e Amazon per prezzo e spedizione veloce.
