Duerr'sEnglish Mint Sauce, 9.9-ounce Jars (Pack of 6)

I am the daughter of a Welsh woman so I grew up eating lamb. We NEVER used mint jelly (yuck, too sweet) so I was delighted to find this mint sauce! Delicious when diluted with a little rice vinegar. Price is great, too!

This is a great quality mint sauce which beautifully compliments my succulent leg of lamb roast with onion sauce. Perfect for the months when I don't have fresh mint growing from which I can make my own sauce. However after tasting this sauce I am tempted not to bother making my own, this is THAT good. A perfect balance of sweet and sour which is vital for a good mint sauce which doesn't overpower the wonderful flavour of the lamb. I have stocked up with this one!

This is an authentic mint sauce for a lamb dinner. So glad that I could order through Amazon and not have to search out grocery stores that may sell this British product.

If you're not British or haven't been influenced in our ways then you'll probably find this stuff disgusting or have no idea what it is for. We dilute this down with vinegar and it lasts a lot longer. It is very thick and is NOT sweet mint jelly (what a horrific thing that is), so be warned. I love this on roast potatoes, veggies, and lamb that we sometimes are able to find at a decent price, although still not like you get in the UK.

Believe it or not, my local grocery store stopped stocking this, the best Mint Sauce ever. We love this with lamb chops and peas. Fresh taste with just enough vinegar to suit. Not sweet at all, it is not mint jelly. It is so delicious, I could eat it by the spoonful (OK I do). This is the best. The package came perfectly packed and all the jars arrived safe and sound.

This is quite possibly the best mint sauce I’ve ever tasted- super for lamb dishes. Even used it in mint julep & mojito! I recommend it!

I appreciated the availability of this delicious mint sauce for our lamb without having to go out of the country to buy it. We share it with family and they also enjoy it.
