Sturdy and effective.
I am custom building a cold air intake casing so I can add a snorkle. This is perfect to keep the flow high yet give me a curve to protect it from water getting in from mud holes. I will add a step Down piece and then run the flex tube to get a snorkle installed. It's a big piece, but it's sturdy and will last forever in regards to my needs.

Confused on the size
I ordered this to connect to a 4” pvc pipe. Upon measuring the pipe I was intending to use this elbow on, I found that the inside diameter measures 4”, and the outside diameter measures 4.5”, making it too big to use with this 4” elbow. The inside diameter of the elbow measures exactly 4”, which makes it too small for my 4” pvc pipe. I’m really confused as to why some pvc pipe is measured by the inside diameter, and others are measured by the outside diameter. Why can’t 4” pvc pipe work with an elbow that is made to work with a 4” pvc pipe? Conclusion, this elbow is made to fit over a pipe that has an outside diameter of 4”. If you’re like me, and have a pvc pipe with an inside diameter of 4”, this elbow is not going to work for you.

Incorrectly marked!
This a a well made, strong elbow that is INCORRECTLY MARKED as 4" when in fact it is the inner circumference that is 4 inches and not the out circumference.
