7 October 2020:....And then I fell in-love.I cannot fault this case but to give positive feedback for my 12.9 IPad Pro 2020.In my opinion, it looks and feels better than Apples very own cases as mentioned by another customer Apple could learn a thing or two here, this case feels luxurious yet sturdy without adding much weight. And the magnetic holder for the pen is just Amazing, it’s everything I’ve been searching for my new Ipad.I am so in-love! I brought the silver grey :)I might as well just buy another!7 December 2020:So I have an update on my iPad case, I want to first mention whether this case has lived up to my expectations and I can say, it definitely has, my case is still looking pretty luxurious and strong as it did when I first purchased it.The outside is still looking bright and smooth leaving behind a nice clean finish even though I have used my iPad every day as a student, there is no major difference considering day to day use.The inside of the case has discoloured (I have the light grey) but this is not the biggest issue as the material is still super soft inside. Best feeling ever.Now I would like to point out a few things,1. The case does not provide camera coverage, therefore, I purchased a camera screen protector when I purchased my iPad2. When using this case landscape on the table so it is standing up on its own, when you flip the case backwards there is no protection underneath and the iPad is bare, this causes scratches onto the iPad as there is nothing there to protect itOverall, I do like this iPad case, it does protect my iPad on a daily use, I will be searching for more protectors as I do like to switch between different kinds to better suit my plans for that day.I would give this case 7/10. I needed a new case for my 2018 iPad Pro that included a little protection for the Apple Pencil (as its always flying off in my bag). This ESR case is fantastic as it still fits the 2018 iPad Pro, has all the usual features like auto sleep/wake, and has a handy magnetic clasp that keeps the Apple Pencil nice and secure. Quality is great and the back has a slight transparent look to it.Overall I am very happy with the purchase - great quality and also at a great price!

Great case for the price.I have a magnetic case for my iPad Pro 12.9, and also the magic keyboard which is magnetic.I was looking for a case that could cover the sides of the iPad as well for some added protection when I don’t need to use the keyboard.I ordered this as there wasn’t much choice on amazon for a full iPad cover, the magnetic ones don’t have any cover around the edges.It’s a great little case for the price, it covers the edges and the back of my iPad so I won’t scratch them and the screen cover has a nice feel on the inside with a magnetic clasp which I like including space for the Apple Pencil.It provides good protection from scratching the iPad but it doesn’t feel strong or durable enough to protect the iPad if dropped however. If your looking for something more robust then I can’t see this doing much but I haven’t dropped my iPad so I don’t know for sure. It’s worth the buy if you want to protect your iPad edges & back from scratched and general wear and tear.

The case is ok but has no protection where the pen rests when charging (some cases do cover this and retain function). There is a flap to cover the pen but it doesn’t secure it in pace meaning the pen can move and usually ends up magnetised to the screen. I would have uploaded a picture but the option to do that is not available.

A really solid choice as an iPad case. When looking, it’s soon obvious that there’s an overwhelming amount of choice for an iPad case ranging in prices. For £12 you’ll be hard pushed to find a better one than this.I’ve got the 12.9” iPad Pro 2020 case and it’s great, really solid and looks good. The front of the black version is a faux leather that has a similar texture to a moleskin diary. The back is a semi-transparent black that doesn’t attract too many fingerprints. It’s slim and has good cut outs for all ports and camera (which has a raised edge for protection). It has 2 viewing angles, about provide stability even with the larger iPad, there’s a bit of a knack to folding it which is why I expect some other reviewers have had stability issues.Magnets work well, sleep/on function all good, nice to have an Apple Pencil protector as well.Bought initially to protect before buying the magic keyboard but I can see myself using this as a daily case as the iPad just feels so much less vulnerable in it.Would highly recommend.

I know Apple have tested the iPad for the rough treatment it may get but the Pro 12.9 is very big, it feels thin and I was nervous to move it away from my desk. This case has resolved that concern. This case is brilliant, snug fit, holds the pencil so it's ready to go. It just gives me the extra confidence to be mobile with my Pro. Despite another review here the magnetic shutdown does work fine when you close the case. With the face recognition on I open the case, pick up the pencil and I'm ready to go.

The case does protect the iPad all the way around and is easy enough to put on. As a stand, however, it does a very poor job. Despite following the instructions and putting the magnetic flap in the right place the iPad was never very stable and it got worse over the course of a few weeks to the point where it would fall over all the time. Thankfully it never caused the ipad to have a bad fall but it would knock things off the table and we'd often resort to propping it up on another stand instead. We've replaced it with a different ESR product that is much more stable and feels a lot more durable too.
