I have many Meross products in the smart home, originally with Alexa then I changed over to Apple Home, and both products work great. Good brightness, range of colours and immediate response. I had an issue with 1 bulb recently and I contacted Meross, superb service, quick replacement resolution, faultless service. Highly recommend these bulbs and the Meross products.

Another great product from Meross. I have a number of Meross products now, this is the latest to join my collection. I have to say, they are really easy to set-up, the instructions in the Meross phone app are perfect to guide you through the installation. They work as expected for brightness, on a par with the Phillips Hue bulbs which I also have. They are not quite as bright as the LifX Wi-Fi bulbs, but then they cost about one third of the price and you get two bulbs for that! Another great attribute is the shape. They are very close to the size and shape bulbs we have all been used to, unlike some other brands. I do like the way these Meross bulbs go through a colour change after finishing connecting; it’s cute. You will notice I have given 4 stars, not 5. The only thing that lets them down for me is the controllability in the app. Don’t get me wrong, you can do everything you need to, it’s just not as refined as something like Philips Hue. To be honest, it’s not going to matter much as you will likely just control them with you home AI device, which works brilliantly. In short. For the price they are, it’s an absolute bargain. If you are looking to start getting some funky colour lights that you can play with and don’t have a lot to spend, then do consider these. They are high quality and very inexpensive for what you get. I wanted to be able to voice control my lights at home, without paying the exorbitant price for Philips Hue. After looking around on Amazon, I originally purchased Gosund bulbs, only to find out they wouldn't link to Google Home, no matter what I did. After researching, I figured out it had something to do with IFTTT support being discontinued by the app maker (Smart Life). I returned the Gosund bulbs and left a 1-star review, and ordered these. Took me five minutes to set two up. These use the Meross app, and when I first tried to link them I had the same issue I was having with the Gosund ones. My phone opened a screen asking me to login to Meross to authorise Google Home to manage the devices (through my Google Mini). I did this, but when I hit 'Authorise' it looked like it was loading, then closed and my Google Home was not connected. I tried it a second time and it linked immediately, then asked me to select a room. When I did that it instantly added the bulbs to my Google Home, and I can now voice control the lights in both bedrooms in my house. I've ordered another set just now - for the landing and living room. It's worth mentioning that these don't seem to be able to flash or have a disco light effect which some people might want for parties, but you can change them to whatever colour and brightness you want. Most importantly, they work seamlessly with Google Home, without the price tag of Philips Hue. Hopefully I won't run into any issues down the line, but if I do, I'll update this review right away. If this review is 6 months old when you read it and I haven't updated it, then you can take this as confirmation the bulbs still work with voice control through Google Home.

These bulbs were setup within minutes of arrival; a quick bluetooth connection via the official Meross application the instantly linked with Amazon Alexa allowed me to control the lighting, brightness, and colours through Alexa. Never have to leave my sofa again!

I've now purchased four of these bulbs and can say that they work brilliantly. I can't comment on their longevity as they've only been in a couple of weeks. What I can say is that they are super easy to set up and integrate with Alexa and have a decent range as one of them is in my summer house which is located at the opposite end of the property to my router in the garden (obviously :-) ). When I can find a reason to buy more, I certainly will.

When I ordered it, it said "£3.79 / count" but when it arrived it was £7.58 per bulb which meant I got half as many bulbs as advertised. Misleading and inaccurate pricing so sent back for full refund, but beware anyone else ordering you may get fewer bulbs than you should be getting. Went from being one of the cheaper brands to one of the more expensive - there were loads available around the £5-6 price point. The App was hard to select the exact colour, it's a wheel you move around, but is very sensitive so felt impossible to get the exact colour you wanted. Why not offer something where you can set it manually? Very poor design.

They work great. I can connect it to Google home and control it using there. But the Meross app has more colors because there is a color wheel instead of Google home using preset colors. Sometimes when using the Meross app widget there is a slight delay of about 3 - 4 seconds. But when using the app directly it’s about 1 - 2 seconds. Could be something with my wifi

These Meross Light bulbs are versatile and user-friendly smart wifi lights for anyone who has smart home! It was plug and play for me! I downloaded the meross app via the QR code, plugged in al 10 lights i purchased, and the meross app detected them instantly!! I was so surprised when my Echo Pop announced that it can see my new meross lights and that I can add them to a home, room, or group and easy peasy! After 5 minutes in the alexa/smart home app, i can say many different things like "alexa/google/etc turn on my thearte" and bam, my lights turn on at the set colour (1% warm white)! And soo much more!! Soo happy I bought these. I would recommend that you have at least one compatible smart hub to make the set up much more seamless! :)

Amazon Echo & Melrose Smart Lightbulb are so easy to setup. You do need to sign up and download 3x different apps. Amazon Alexa, Amazon Music, Melrose. They work well together. For more than 1x device to play simultaneously with different songs you would need to sign up for “Unlimited Music” as an individual account or Family account. Currently trying to link up my Spotify & my ITunes music Account.

So far so good. Great price, easy to set up.

User friendly enough. But I’ve had 2 out of 6 not last a year. Bought March last year and now I’ve had my second start to flicker bad between 2 colours. I’ve only ever had them set at a warm white and have used the brightness function. Wouldn’t buy again.
