General Pipe Cleaners KR-A-WC Kinetic Water Ram Drain Cleaning Tool with Accessories, Small

I rarely write a review of any product but this deserved it. I tried getting clog out with an auger I own, but clog was too far around several bends. I paid a plumber to get the clog out and he couldn't either with a longer auger. He advised that he would need to cut into the ceiling of my living room in order to try to find the clog (sink was in an upstairs bathroom). I decided to try a couple of other methods first. First tried draino. Didn't work. Next tried a $10 water bladder. Didn't work. Decided to plunk down $300 for the water ram on the premise that cutting into my ceiling to find the clog was likely going to cost me a couple thousand $$ to find, fix, repair, and repaint. Took me a couple of tries with the water ram at increasing pressure, but fixed the leak. Highly recommend!

This def works. I screwed the pvc on the end of it and put it down a clogged sink that is part of a pair of sinks joined in a v. I had a guy out and he couldn’t snake the line. The house is old and it has 90 degree bends all over the place and no cleanouts. Anyway. After he gave up i just said, eff it, let’s put this pvc on the end of this ram jet, put it down the sink drain and hit it with 45lbs. Gave it a few goes and blasted through. and now they drain better than ever. If it’s working, it sounds like a depth charge ..:all that energy just goes into the water. Of course since it is a pair of sinks, the other needed a rag down the drain after they are both filled with water.

Have used the Kinetic water ram 3 times in the first two weeks after purchasing. One I a clogged up stairs tub and twice in the downstairs toilet. It took 1-2 shots at 10, then 15 lbs to unclog the drains. My daughter plunged the toilet for 15 minutes with no luck, I shot the toilet with 15 lbs in less than a minute and the clog was gone. I wish I knew about this device years ago. Money well spent, time well saved and no more buying DrainO for me, yeah!!

I try for years to try to get this fix was broke when I got it. I even brought repair kit there parts impossible to come off so I'm screw. I try years ago to exchange or something or repair it guess I'll have to try something else

First of all...I NEVER right reviews.I am a restaurant General Manager and I am always looking for ways to save money by fixing things ourselves whenever possible. This thing is amazing! I bought this as a last ditch effort to fix a drain that I have had clogged for over 6 weeks. My plumber has been out 6-8 times with his power auger and shop vac to try to get a small plastic ramekin that was stuck in a 2" floor drain pipe just past the p-trap. He was able to see it by using a camera that he stuck down into the pipe. The ramekin was stuck in the pipe beyond an air vent. He was finally ready to give up and scheduled an overnight to jackhammer through our VERY expensive tilework into the foundation of the restaurant to dig the pipe out and re-pipe it.I bought this water ram only because a fellow GM that I knew had one and had some great things to say about it. I did;t really think that it was likely that this was going to help me in this situation, but why not try... As soon as it arrived, I pumped it up to 40psi and gave it a shot. No luck...I then pumped it up to 60psi and gave it another blast. Boom!! Got it! The ramekin was pushed far enough to where the drain becomes 3" and it was free. This $300 purchase literally saved me $4000 in labor and tile work! I called my plumber and told him about it. He didn't believe me. He came down to the restaurant to see for himself, and was shocked! He asked where he can buy one. I told him that he can have it, as long as he forgot about the invoices for all the trips had had made out previously. He said, "what invoices". My second one is on order:)

Easy to use high-quality product that actually works to clear clogged drains. More effective and safer on pipes than Liquid Plumber, this device is "a blast" to use and can save you money on calls to the plumber to snake-out clogged drains and pipes. We use ours monthly to clear bathtub and sink drains.Annual Update: Been using it for nearly a year and it still works great at clearing clogged drains. Haven't used Drano since the device was purchased.

The kinetic water ram does what is says it will do. For me it worked in 1/3 situating only after I ran to my neighbor for the rubber skirt you need as mine was lacking this vital piece. Ultimately, I returned it because of that missing item and the fact that it wasn't as successful as I had hoped. Your mileage may vary of course, but for me, the limited application couldn't justify the price.

We had a very bad clog in our equipment room. It was a floor drain and it was clogged with something the builders must have put down the drain during construction. We tried everything. Two plumbers came out. They even put a camera down the drain and the clog was BAD. No snaking would loosen it. Drain chemicals did nothing. We rented a heavy duty snake from Home Depot. One plumber told us the only way to clear the clog was cutting the concrete. That would have been $6k. So we tried Drain King. High hopes for that but no joy. Finally we ordered the Kinetic Water Ram. I would be lying if I said I had high hopes but we were desperate. I put the device in the drain, pumped it up to 40 psi, and pulled the trigger. Nothing. No sound. I pulled it out to see what happened and the water all rushed out of the drain. ONE ATTEMPT and the drain was clear. Very expensive, and probably a last resort, but when nothing else works this IS the solution.

Had a bathtub drain in an old apt. building. Bathtubs are connected together with a T joint running down. Problem is that girls shower and shave their legs. The plastic razor blade caps get flushed down the drain, go through the trap and get jammed down the connecting T.Could not snake it and the main pipes were in a concrete wall. Spent 3 days trying to snake it and cut pipe below the tub trying to feed snake down the T. Could not get in to the T. Heard about Ram pump and decided to order one. Took 3 seconds to get drain to work at 25 lbs pressure. Well worth while investment as the alternative would have been to cut into concrete wall to get at the pipe. Been there a few times and it is not fun and very expensive.
