It's been exactly a year since I bought this and been using it in my work truck since, but it broke at where the ball joint comes out of the holder. So that's a pretty good run. Glad they still make this one because I like it, and I think I'll get another.

Budget phone holder that fits a variety of air vents. Adjusts for different width phones. Does a good job holding even larger phones steady enough to display map apps. Rear button releases spring-loaded jaws when you need to take your phone with you. Comes with detailed instructions. Can hold phone horizontally on smooth roads, but heavier phones will fall out on bumpy roads.

Works great, I take my phone on and off several times a day and it holds it secure.

Although this phone mount was advertised as ready to go, the mechanism that connects the phone mount to the base just popped out and wouldn't stay together. So, I tried superglueing it, and then, it worked properly. Overall, an ok product, after this.

Works well with an Android Motorola stylus This product holds your phone tight and snug, with plenty of space for your phone to charge while in the stand. The main base has a bevle joystick ancher. You loosen the nut to set the phone position, then you tighten it to lock into place. The arms are spring loaded release. Squeeze together to close. Press the easy access release button on the back of the bas to release the phone. The base attached to your heater vent, and the anker allows you to use both vertical and horizontal vents with easy repositioning. Its design comes with a lever locking "kick stand" that tightens the clip to the vent. The kickstand causes the clip to grip and lock tight into the vent, so if you hit a bump, turns a tight curve, or go over rough tracks, this product will hold firm and not fall. An easy to install, easy to adjust, and easy to use product!

I bought this to replace a similar phone holder (not Amazon brand) that I let someone borrow and never got back. The one I originally bought is no longer sold, so I bought this one because it was the closest product I could find to what I'd had before. This one is terrible in comparison! The form factor is super bulky, which is very inconvenient in my car because there's not much space between the vents and the steering wheel. You have to reach around the back of the phone holder to release your phone from its grasp, which is particularly inconvenient because it's so bulky. The mechanism by which it clamps to the vent is not actually adjustable, it just toggles between a couple different options for the width of the clamp's opening, and after less than a month and a half of use the clamp stopped properly closing on the smaller width option. In fact, after less than a month and a half of use, several parts of this phone holder gave out and it would not hold my phone steady while I drove. I don't recommend this product!

Great replacement for my old one. Fits tight on the air vent and has a strong grip. Glad I purchased it, and price was pretty reasonable too!

I’ve been searching for a good quality car cellphone holder at a decent price for months and here it was all along in Amazon basics??? Works perfectly AND at an unbeatable price?!? It holds the phone tight, clamps onto my vent fin and won’t let go until it is released. You can even turn it horizontally for added convenience. I am literally making a mental list of whom I can gift this great product to for Christmas presents. Just get the holder, you won’t be disappointed.
