Love this book!!I was compelled to write seeing the 2 star review from the real farmer.The NEW farm is featuring a set of farms that has been revitalized and reimagined by largely urbanites seeking a different life.With this come design needs and approaches that lends a fresh view to what the farm is and can be.So maybe it’s not useful to the traditional farmer, but for any lover of design, craving a country side life it’s a gem!

Bought this book for my architect son who loves the country. He loved it, it is giving him some great ideas for a country farm design.

There are very few "real" farms illustrated. It is as if the editor requested "snapshots" from the owners and simply arranged them without careful "editing." Amateur presentation and disappointing. I am a farmer living on a "real" grain farm in Illinois and this book is not worth the money.
