Hershey Assorted Chocolate Flavored Snack Size, Candy Party Pack, 33.43 oz

I don't post many reviews, but had to take a minute in order to express my admiration (and amazement) at the meticulous care with which this product was packaged. Everyone already knows about these terrific candy classics, so I won't bother with an evaluation of those. The box however, containing but ONE purchased item (a single bag), arrived promptly at my porch, and was both larger and heavier than expected. Here's why: it had (on ALL six sides) foam insulation lined (and sealed) with heat-reflective plastic, multiple air pillows, and included two heavy non-toxic reusable freezer packs: in other words, they sent it in a makeshift (disposable) refrigerator! The attention, time, and materials going into preventing this affordable chocolate from melting (or being crushed) probably cost the company from one third to HALF the product's retail price (not counting postage) - to be honest, I don't know HOW they managed it (even while considering that they are big enough to buy in bulk) - yet the cost to the consumer (me) was STILL nominal (even in economically uncertain times). Kudos to Hershey's: and anyone who habitually complains about the benefits of Western Civilization should stop right now!

These could be addictive, right size for snacks without guilt. Perfect to keep out for a kid's treat or adult visitors. They were fresh and packed with an ice pack to keep from melting. Bonus is a free icepack for your own needs.

Would like to send a "Thank You" to whoever packed my order with an ice pack...smart and much appreciated! If this person did not put one in they would of all been melted.Very fresh candies no smashed pieces would recommend! Again A+ A+ Packing!!!!
