Minorutouki Rice Bowl Extra Large White Wave Whale Blue φ5.8×H2.6in 7.76oz Made in Japan

The bowl is nice, but in the listing pictures, the colors are more vibrant, and include both blue and some green. My bowl is similar, but the blues are not nearly as vibrant (still pretty, but not as vibrant), and there is zero green. Notice in the listing, the whale on the side of the bowl (think in picture #5), the whale is distinctly green, but my whale on the side of the bowl is a dark & muted navy-teal blue color, as shown in my picture. It was packaged well, seems to be decent quality, just not as striking and pretty.

The media could not be loaded.  I am torn. It's a very nice bowl, but it is very small for $20. I was expecting it to be a little bigger. The print is well done. I did notice a few specs of glaze at the bottom that probably shouldn't be there. The out side is textured which is nice. I think it adds flair. Over all, a nice piece of pottery but I don't think I would buy it again for $20.

Beautiful plate, however mine arrived broken do to poor packaging by seller. Unfortunately its not worth the time and effort to replace item or refund for me from my shipping location. Will avoid this seller in future and look for better packaging practices. these Mino ware plates come in factory boxes that protect them nice for shipping, other sellers leave in this box. this seller just put plate in bubble wrap in loose fitting box expecting it to not break shipping all the way to Hawaii.

I love to buy products made in Japan because of their exquisite craftsmanship; however, I was immensely disappointed with this bowl. The overall production was sloppy and not even worthy of being classified as rustic, which is very uncharacteristic from my experience. Is this an authentic item? Leaves me wondering.

This is a gorgeous good sized bowl - a work of art. Good shape. Ideal!

Wrong size , only one bowl there were to be 2 bowl . It was the smallest one , I ordered the largest size and there was suppose to be two of them

Opened package and beautiful expensive plate was broken in half

Very fine craftsmanship, thin, elegant. I thought it's a two piece set but it's single. Was disappointed as it turns into a very expensive piece. But the quality itself is great

白波くじらのレンゲの存在は知っていましたが知った時にはネットではどこも売り切れでしたし、行く先々で探してみてもお茶碗はあるけどレンゲは無かったです。ずっと欲しかったのでamazonで見つけた時は嬉しかったです。実物は初めて見ましたが想像より良かったです。さすがにレンゲは凹凸の無いタイプだと思っていましたが波の部分に少しですが凹凸があります。凝ってます。食べやすいかはまだ使っていないので不明ですが、気に入った物で食事をするのはとても楽しみなのですでに満足です。持ってみた感じでは大丈夫そうです。これが２つで1100円はお値段以上です。買って良かったです。

デザインが気に入り購入しました波の部分に微妙な凹凸があるのが良いですね残念な部分は、レンゲ裏側の底の角の部分だけツルツルしていなくてザラザラしています　底の角の部分だけ釉薬がかかっていなくて気になりました。Amazon掲載の写真だと分かりづらいですがよく見てみて下さい。

These dishes (I bought the set!) are absolutely beautiful!! They are bold and stunning. I bought them as gift for my daughter for Christmas along with a Japanese cookbook. I cannot wait until she opens them! And I’m totally amazed—they arrived in Florida perfectly package and completely as promised only a week later. Thank you!

程よい大きさと深さで、毎日のように使っています。柄がとっても気に入ってシリーズで買い揃えてます。

もう少し大きい皿の方が迫力ありますね皿が小さいためか　クジラがきゅうくつそうです
