Great quality product, makes delicious couscous salad. Toasting is the key!
Pearl couscous - the big brother of the more common (small) couscous. It's very easy to prepare, but I would strongly suggest toasting it first: not only will that bring out a lovely nutty flavor, but also prevent couscous from being sticky and mushy.1. Toasting:heat about 2 tbsp of oil of your choice (olive, avocado, coconut worked well for me) in pan @ medium-high heat. Add couscous, stirring it for about 5-7 minutes, or until light golden brown.2. For 1 cup of dry pearl couscous, boil 1.5 cups of water. In a medium saucepan/pot add water to toasted couscous, salt and pepper to taste. You can add 2 tsps of lemon juice to prevent it from sicking.Bring to the boil and reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until there's no water left.3. Remove from heat and season with finely chopped fresh parsley, cilantro, dill (or even pesto) or mint (for that extra flavor), half an onion and garlic.Cooked couscous tastes relatively blunt on its own, so you can safely add ground pepper, cumin, paprica or any other spices and herbs you prefer. As well as dried fruits and nuts.4. If you're making a couscous salad:For the dressing mix 2-4 tbsp of lemon juice with olive oil and finely chopped garlic, and pour it over couscous mixed with finely chopped salad leaves, arugula and spinach. You're all set. Bon appetite.

Great value
The couscous cooks up great! I love the multi color, it adds a nice visual effect to the side. My local grocery store charges the same price but for a fraction of the amount provided in this item so I find it to be a great value! It allows me to eat this item a lot more frequently due to the lower price per portion

Delicious!
Great couscous for the price! It is much cheaper than the ones in the supermarkets and just as good. Pearl couscous is very versatile - serve with a little butter, salt, and Parmesan (my favorite way), or meats/veggies for a filling meal. You can also use it as a cold salad dish, with feta, olives, and Greek vinaigrette- yum!

So delicious!
I wish I knew about pearl couscous a long time ago!! It is delicious and the mouth feel is very pleasant. Think mini-teeny-tiny pasta pillows that soak up whatever flavor you cook it in. I will never reach for the regular kind of couscous ever again. The only thing I do not like is the lack of cooking instructions but a simple google search should help. I use one cup of water or broth for every 3/4 cup of pearl couscous, cook on high until it starts to boil, reduce heat to low and allow it to cook undisturbed for 6-8 minutes. I typically only add salt, pepper and butter, to taste. I could eat this everyday.

Directions, please!
This was a great value and tastes good. Maybe I should know how to cook couscous, but there are no directions! I went online to find the water to couscous ratio, but feel like that should be written on the package, so one star off. Otherwise, this was a good value when I bought it.

Yupik Israeli Pearl Cous Cous
This is a generous bag of Israeli pearl Cous Cous. This style Cous Cous is more dense and chewy as a pasta, I think a more hearty and satisfying version of the light and fluffy Cous Cous most people are familiar with. Cous Cous is very versatile and will absorb the flavor of your favorite broths and spices. This can lightly roasted before cooking in the hot liquid of your choice for a sublime tasting and healthy carb addition to your meal. The tricolor pasta brings visual interest and appeal to the meal.. it’s tasty. I recommend giving it a try in order to mix it up a bit at mealtime.Weighing in at over 2 lbs this bag will provide generously for a small family as the ratio of water to product is about 2 to 1.

Nothing to complain about and a great price
The tri-color is mostly about the color; don't expect it to taste like carrot or spinach. They're couscous, they cook up great, and I'm frankly kind of amazed by the price for a shipped item -- it's pretty much the same as in the brick and mortar store.

Great for instant soup!!!
They are a good versatile staple for instant soups. I can add spices and make any flavor I want with these, I highly recommend them! I've order them a few times now and they are consistent in packaging, flavor and quality.
