I live where we get a lot of heavy wet snow, which can be challenging to push longer distance as the snow loads up on your plow, so I would end up loosing traction. I put these chains on, and my truck is like a little tank now, where I got stuck before, I no longer do. I was (still am) very impressed with the build quality, and the gauge of the chains, especially for &80.00.Love em!P.S. chains are for traction, not for seeing how much farther you can push your 4wd, yes you will go farther, but remember if you got stuck with chains on, it shall be a challenging recovery. 🙂

Part#QG2221CAM fit's 245/75/16. Although the 265 tire is a little tall for these chains, which made them a tight fit with out the need of chain tighteners. Kind of a hassle getting the links together. Using a ratchet binder to stretch them worked fine. I teared up the snow for a few days out in a national forest and the chains have held up nicely. I would purchase again, however I had thought these chains have spikes which they don't.Update on a second set a year later. I bought another one for the front wheels. This time around the chains had a bit more slack and actually fit way better with no hassle putting them on. Both have held up nicely especially my last run plowing 3' of snow for 7 miles on a rocky road. I never got stuck and the chains were getting worked hard kicking up rocks.

Using these on an airport tug plowing snow. Snow started getting deep and tires began to spin. Threw these chains on and the tug is unstoppable! Used a couple of 15” bungee cords to keep the extra chain from slapping around. Time will tell on longevity.

The title says it all! These chains work great and take only a few moments to install. The cams make for a simple installation by sufficiently tightening the chain around the tire to work in a pinch. If you plan to keep them on for any distance, I *HIGHLY* recommend the rubber chain tighteners (less than $8 a pair here on Amazon) offered by Security Chain Company.Paired, these products can be safely installed all winter long in low speed applications and turn even marginal tires into grip monsters. The chains seemed expensive to me as I prepared to purchase them (I spent $180 to clad four tires), but I realize now that they are one heck of a deal.

This product fit correctly for the application I am using them, I fit them to the outside duel set of tires on a one ton rear wheel drive dump truck. Without them on the truck the wheels had less than zero traction in the snow due to the floatation effect of dual tires on a rear wheel drive vehicle. I am very pleased with my purchase. I would buy another set if needed.

Chains were assembled properly, quality is very good! One small problem, make sure the chains arent twisted up before bagging please.I know how to untangle chains, however doing this takes time. 1/3 of the chain was twisted inside itself 4 times on one side so it took quite a bit of time to unravel it.

I haven’t used them yet but the seem very sturdy and the cam allows it to be tightened right away. Good purchase.

Seem like a good set of chains at a decent price; we'll see if I need to use them hunting this winter.

excellent chains. definitely buy the rubber chain tensioners (maybe buy the one piece star type)got caught on the highway thru hell with my cargo trailer fully loaded and with these chains oni cruised through it no problemalso thank you amazon for the extra service you provided after the sale

had an issue with these, they blew apart and I ended up paying 600 bucks getting my fender in my brand new superduty fixed. Cant complain about amazon tho because I got a refund for it.

seem like good chains (only broke 2 side links in first use)... make sure to use the tensioners and tie down the cams (as they will open and then trouble happens
