Don’t buy. The devices are faulty. The backend servers are inoperable and they can’t even give an eta when the backend server issues will be resolved. Can’t register to activate the device. These devices should’ve been recalled and shouldn’t be on sale. Completely useless. Road Angel support team told me to return device for amazon and buy the older version that this was supposed to replace. Told them I’ll be buying something from a different manufacturer. Absolutely useless. Should’ve listened to the other reviews. I was hoping the issues would’ve been resolved by now. The alternative was that I could return the item to them and they would dispatch me one from a new batch that they are receiving in August. Why the haven’t recalled this existing batch is beyond me.

I did read the other reviews but thought I would give this a whirl. I bought it as it was suggested it would help in spotting sneaky vans and Police hiding in bushes. It doesn't help at all with discrimination, it simply alarms at all cameras, alive dead, regardless. Simple tactic of anywhere you may be able to get moving and the scroungers can hide chances are a van will be sitting. This never fails!Software is flawed too, often fails to get a GPS fix and after a few days went to sleep never to wake up. Thought best put it out of its misery and send back.

Works really well but the charging side of this item has a lot to be desired , charging from in car is ridiculous and I find the app not good at all. That’s why two stars

Utter Junk, never got as far as switching the unit on, removed the film off the screen that has instructions to charge unit first and the whole display came away with it.

Road Angel Pure Touch!! USELESS.... wish I looked at all the other reviews!!! New unit for Christmas, just cycles through the menu. Asks for a serial number but can't get it off the unit as it's in some kind of start-up mode!! No serial number in the box etc. Seems like lots of people are having the same issue. Refund for me and I won't ever buy another Road Angel product.

I’ve had all road angel products so far and there is NO added functionality over the Pure. The touch interface is basically useless.The GPS seems a lot worse to get a lock and the DB is still inaccurate.For this money you can buy yourself a phone and use Waze, much useful with real time alerts and accurate camera position, even the average speed zones are now in waze and you save yourself a subscription.It’s a shame, a great idea with a very poor implementation.
