ASL Solutions Dog Palace for Med to Large Dogs - Gray

This dog house is even better than I had expected. Sturdy, well made and nice looking. Great quality. My lab is 80 pounds and this is more than large enough for him. I once owned a 145 lb. Bullmastiff and this would also have accomodated him fine. It took under ten minutes to assemble. Highly recommend the utube video on assembly. We watched it and had confidence so we never even looked at the actual directions that came with the dog house. Very happy with this warm, dry and attractive palace for our boy!

Dog house was as described. I added four better screws to replace the black “sheetrock-type” screws to secure the raised floor area. (similar to the plated screws used in the top of the end walls). I also added silicone caulking inside the floor area where the four Walls attach plus I added 3/8” thick by 1/2” wide sticky backed foam (sold in 10’ rolls) to the front & rear building walls as well as the contact edges of the roof to help stop air movement. (None was added to the channels in the floor so it can still drain). Not bad for the dollars spent...

At first, this seemed like a good product. Easy to assemble and looks really nice.I cannot recommend this dog house to anyone. The insulation inside should be spray foam. The plastic on the interior/exterior should be 3X thicker. As it stands, this product is a $275 chew toy. My dog chewed a hole in it in less than 24 hours and foam bead insulation is all over the place. On inspection, the plastic is very thin. It should be at least as thick as exterior child play toys that we own and have survived multiple dogs.I am going to have to retrofit the entire interior and exterior with plywood, and patch the insulation that is gushing out of the interior. So what is the point if you have to put plywood to cover the shoddy-thin plastic? The plastic should be on par with Lifetime products, but isn’t. It looks nice, but zero function for its intended purpose. I should have built it out of plywood to begin with. Save your money and build your own, because you will have to repair it anyway!!! I hate this thing…not happy at all.

Great Quality. Assembles quickly.I removed the bottom half of the swinging door to train my dog to go in and out. She loves being in there--especially when the wind is blowing. I ordered a 2" thick pad from K9Ballistics.com as well. The dog has not been able to damage that pad with her constant chewing...

They are so worth the money, they are great! I have four of them, and the one I bought years ago is in just as good of condition as the one I bought last year. No other dog house can compare to these !!! The only advice I can offer is have some one help you while assembling, so your walls don't fall over as your trying to add pieces, and they can help hold the dog house still while you are adding the screws. Make sure all the screws are in place before you try moving the dog house to some where else. IF I ever heard that the THESE Dog Houses were going to quit being built I would hurry up and buy more so I would never be with out them.

The ASL Solutions Dog Palace is just that - a palace for your dog. It is warm and draft free on those cold winter nights. I gave 3 stars for ease of assembly only because you will need two people. It is awkward to handle (I have the large which contributes to that) but once you get it in place and secure with the provided screws it is as sturdy as they get without the weight of a wooden dog house. Two people can lift it easily. We bought the floor warmer as well and you do not have to take the house apart to put it in.The inside of the house is roomy even for our very large Chocolate Lab who lets his Jack Russell Terrier "brother" come in, too. Getting either dog to go through the door took just a bit of training. As per the instructions, it is a good idea to remove the lower half of the swinging door for starting the process. Favorite dog treats work wonders.

House looked nice and was easy to put together, BUT!! It is not made of a very thick plastic, so if you have a dog that chews on toys, Do Not Buy. Our dogs chewed on the the roof corners and all the beaded insulation fell out already.

Great quality! My elderly dog in unsure about stepping over such a high step so I wish that was lower, but overall very happy with the product.
