Merrell Men's Helixer Distort Walking Shoe,Espresso,10 M US - I shopped these shoes for months on Amazon as I missed an early sale on them back before christmas at around $65.00. I refused to buy them as I watched them soar anywhere from $95.00 to $115.00 and after patience(stubborness) they dipped down back under $65.00. So victory in my own mind and I ordered away.I didnt buy these shoes for walking, running or truthfully any kind hiking, instead I was looking for a casual Khaki pant/ Cargo short type of comfortable shoe. Very fast shipping in original Merrell box and I have to admit the shoes actually looked better then I had expected. I have been wearing Merrell's for years and frankly I was down on them (Chameleon's) but decided to take a chance here. I am happy with the quality and overall look and I know they will work for what I bought them for. As for fit I will say they fit like a 10 and have plenty of room in the toe area with that balanced wider look. If I had to mention anything about the shoes I would say after wearing them a few weeks, the heel does slide up and down alittle bit as the heel area seems like it is cut alittle low to me but I would not recommend going down a half size as they fit perfect everywhere else. So all in all I am happy with the purchase and they are worth every penny at $65.00 bucks.

I've had Merrell in the past and figured this was an easy win, but these were a big disappointment. Right away, one of the laces frayed at the end, and Merrell had no replacements available. They were always a bit heavy and hot, but the material got very stiff after some outdoor hikes. Typically a bulkier shoe would have a tradeoff in more cushioning, but there's hardly any of that here either. I just found them generally uncomfortable and unpleasant to wear, and have since replaced them.

These are pretty comfy for walking and general all day wear. They are slightly heavy compared to most of the tennis shoes or dress shoes that they rotate with in my day to day, but less so than many Merrells. I generally wear Pro Step inserts because of plantar fasciitis but they do not fit well in these shoes (they have that very narrow central arch area that some Merrells have), but going with the provided inserts has been good so far.

I am a little disappointed in the quality of the stitching. After only a couple of weeks of occasional use, the thread came apart in the area of my little toe. I was able to put it back together fairly well with some "Super Glue". Other than that, they are extremely comfortable although they started looking kind of funky in a very short time.

I just got these sneakers and they are fantastic. I usually get blisters from any new shoes, but not with these. I also have very high arches and usually have to use custom orthotics. With these, with custom orthotics these are perfect, but even without I do not have any issues.

Totally comfortable, great for walking. No problems whatsoever. I added a pair of Dr. Sholls gel work insoles for my situation; walking on concrete all day. My feet don't hurt at all. Broken in right out of the box.

Was expecting a super comforting walking shoe.run a little narrow,the sides of my feet so bad after 2 days I could not wear them anymore

nice looking shoe but I found it uncomfortable by my toes as if they were pushing up against something where the laces where attached. Overall Merrell makes good, durable shoes, but this one just did not feel right and so had to return it

Seem well made, with firm arch support and excellent grip. Very comfortable. I usually have to go a size larger than normal with Merrell footwear, but I ordered my usual size (9.5) after reading another review and the fit is spot on. The laces are very long though and I wonder if Merrell use boot laces in their trainers. Lots of extra lace when tied! Also starting to look a little faded after a few months of careful use and the tread has started to wear already.

The shape of the base under the insole and the insole shape itself make these very comfortable to wear. I'm size 9 in most other footwear and the 9 in these is a perfect fit. I tried a few other shoes to wear for a 12 hour shift at work, standing and walking on a hard floor, and these are easily the best.

SO used to Merrell footwear now being a great fit, comfy, and great to wear. It started with buying a pair of Merrell slip-ons in the US for 30$ and wearing them till they disintegrated. On my 5th or 6th pair now and through Amazon, I extended my collection.

These are a great pair of trainers. I ordered a slightly bigger size (101/2) and they fit just great. They are very comfortable and make walking a little more pleasurable. They stayed dry (inside) in the recent downpours too.

Very comfortable, replacing an older pair of Merrell shoes. Well constructed and good value
