Review: arrived the next day not name brand but still good working product - works great I tried to buy controller from game stop but they didnt work so I decided to go on line and I found these I think its a great price for 2 controllers. and I didnt know it wasn't a game cube made controller when I bought it but I wasnt disappointed........bought it for my son and he used a app to check how well the controls worked and they past better then the game stop controllers ... I know they dont sell brand new game cube controllers so I was expecting alot worse but im definitely happy with purchase and as long as it holds up threw my sons speed runs so we will see........
Review: First impressions: Different but reliable - For those that care, there's a not so subtle difference between original gamecube controllers and these; • Rumble feature is more of a buzzy one with the vibration coming higher up on the controller rather than below. • More lightweight than the original but it's only by very little and you have to have both in hand to actually take a notice. • Thinner wire by about 1/2mm. The wire is also a different plastic (has a bit more cling to it if you rub a finger across it. If you compare the two side by side, you'll see original is more matte). • Buttons are clicky. A,B,Y,X,Z, and D-pad all feature a click-ish feel but L,R, and START do not (whereas the originals do). L and R have more of a scraping sound but all buttons press fine and there are no faults with inputs. • C stick and Analog stick feel exactly the same to the original so gold star for that. • Requires a phillip head screwdriver for the screws as opposed to the original's need for a Y-tip screwdriver. • Plug ends are all black compared to the originals that have the same colors as the controller body. So if you get four of these make sure you know which slot you're plugged into. In all, you get what you pay for and then some. The color in the picture is definitely not quite the same as what you get (colors are not as deeply hued but they are vivid regardless) but it really doesn't matter in the long run. It's still a fine product for the price and as long as you don't have any hangups over the afore mentioned, they'll do fine for regular gaming on an adapter or with the original GC.

**Q: We have nintendo wii. what games do these controllers work for?**
A: Well, as far as I know, they only work with the gamecube. But, they can work on the wii with the backwards compatibility software of the gamecube on the wii, what I mean, is that if you got a wii with the backwards compatibility, typically indicated by the gamecubes controller ports and memory card ports in the top of the wii normally hidden by 2 separate doors. If your wii has that, it's backwards compatible with the gamecube. If your hoping that you can use the gamecube controllers and memory cards with the native wii software and games itself, I don't even think you can, or, I'm not even sure myself if you can.

**Q: Where does it plug into a Wii?**
A: Well, some Wii's after a point didn't come with the direct gamecube port connectors after being produced for so long. If you find gamecube controller ports and memory card ports on the top of the console (assuming the console is standing vertically with the power button on top) typically hidden under 2 Separate doors, that indicates your console is backwards compatible with the gamecube. If you want to use the controllers with wii games, as far as I know, there are no wii games made for the gamecube controllers that utilizes them, as far as I know.

**Q: How durable are these? most aftermarket console controllers have a very shoddy reputation.**
A: I haven't used them yet. But if they don't work well for you i'd reccomend Old Skool gamecube controller, they work very well the only issue i've had with it is that the rubber wears off a little.

They work for any game you can play with a GameCube controller. If the smash bros brawl game belongs to the gamecube game, it can be played. If it is another console game, you need to use the official gamecube adapter to play the game.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but not perfect

They arrived safely, there is no drift, I just order them because my old original controlled was drowned in soda (not my fault) so I'm used to a quicker d pad response time. Maybe it'll work better with other games not my gameboy advance disc, it was frustrating the sudden pauses my character would make. Hand feel was it was a little smaller and sharp in places. Everything but the little d-pad works perfectly so it's good with other games but I bought it for the gameboy advance disc so I'm a little disappointed.
