I've bought this for my daughters phone which as it is getting older is losing battery power rather fast! She also needed a case so this does both nicely.Battery life is great with this on. Yes it is a bit thicker but thats to be expected and she doesn't mind it.What she loves:- Much longer battery life, extended the life of the phone!- Good protection- Feels niceIssues:- Lightning headphones won't work through this case, and I imagine other devices won't either. Fortunately you can still access the normal headphone socket, or just go with bluetooth.

Bought this as I use my iphone for work all day and the built in battery is on its way out, so would extend the working life of it.The case is pretty substantial and adds a fair bit of heft to it,The case is a good tight fit and all the cut outs are in the correct places, and once charged does what its supposed to.Thats the positives pretty much done with.Negatives?Both the charging ports seem a bit poor and not surprised some other reviewers have said theres have broken off.The main negative for me is that 4months later this has failed totally.Doesnt appear to accept a charge anymore(even though all the ports are intact and appear undamaged), none of the charging/status lights appear and the power button does nothing.I have separate powerbanks that are several years old and work fine still, so will have to revert to using one of them along with a separate lead.Due to the short working life and most likely lack of any warranty I wouldnt recommend buying one.

This is a brilliant addition to my iPhone 8, which has developed a shorter battery life. With this charging case the phone can be charged up as required and will easily last a long day or more. You just need to press the “charge” button on the back of the case when you feel your phone battery needs a boost, and then it will start charging until it’s at 100%, or until you press the button again. Of course it makes the phone a bit thicker and heavier, but it still easily fits in a jeans pocket. It’s also a smart looking case which provides buffers on the corners to protect your phone. I have a separate screen protector on the phone as the case doesn’t protect the screen from scratches.After over a year of use my charging case started to switch itself off at random times, so I contacted the seller, who offers a 2 year warranty, and they sent me a new one which works perfectly again.So I would definitely recommend this as it takes away the uneasiness of knowing that your phone batteries probably won’t last the day!

So it has really helped with my iPhone SE 2020 battery issues. The phone used to lose percentage at a crazy rate and still does but a simple click of the button on the back of the case and boom! A steady charge to boost it back to a decent operating level. Switches itself off after a while (not monitored so unsure how long exactly) but more than enough power in the case to boost it up again.It is rather chunky and adds a bit of weight to the phone but I guess that’s expected but doesn’t feel too much.No front screen protector so will need a screen cover if you are bothered about that like me.All in all no complaints so far, but only had it like a week so as with all of these items, time will tell.

My phone wouldn't work without charging anymore so I used this and it got me through a year but the phone case has expanded a lot now like it's going to explode.

Charges my iPhone 7 up at least 4 times when full . Why a lifesaver this thing is. Great product .Everyone was going on about how it breaks easy but I’ve never had an issue just taking my time with it. I’ve had it on and of half a dozen times over the last 5 months and no issues . I don’t see why you would have a need to take the case on and off any more than a few times to clean it tho. I have nothing bad to say about this product. When this one finally packs in I will let you know and buy another

This battery case does not work. Does not hold charge. Faulty ?. I bought a different brand previously that still works well after 18 months. Judging by many other reviews for this brand a large percentage of these battery cases are faulty out of the box. Quite worrying given that lithium batteries should not be sent by post if faulty, as they are a major fire hazard !. Bad quality wastes resources and costs the environment even more.

Update: "Unfortunately, I spoke too soon in my original review. The first case worked fine for a week or so then died completely. I contacted the seller who was very good indeed in terms of communication and sent another case to me within a couple of days. This case lasted a mere 3 days and then met the same fate as the first.Both times the iPhone was only fitted in the case once and not removed so it was not down to the connector.Seems a real shame as the case is very well made and fits the phone nicely, just the tech inside is flawed."Not had this long so it is difficult to say how it will hold out over time judging by other reviews. So far it has been perfect, no compatibility issues and it charges the iPhone perfectly and will get 2 full charges from the battery. Build quality is really nice and the phone fits very tightly in the case. I wouldn't like to remove the phone often as it is hard to remove once seated. Certainly has done the job for my son who drains the battery very quickly playing games.
