I purchased this to play chess/checkers with the elderly and needed a board with pieces that would remain in place even when jarred. I am sure this would be good for traveling. And, you can't beat the price.

Its a decent little chess board. The magnets really help when traveling however it would be super handy if there was a lock on the back so you can keep it open. If not on a flat surface you can't keep the board straight. BUT that is more how we use it, the board itself is great!

What a great item to bring with us on our camping trips! It’s small and portable and comes with three games. We particularly like playing backgammon, so that’s our primary use.It is a little on the small side, but that’s okay with us for a camping set. It fits in our travel trailer easily.It isn’t very durable though, and the two parts come apart easily, and it’s hard to close it with all the parts inside.

Pros: can't beat the price; comes with instructions (in German and English;) everything shown in photos; you can add a warranty; for the price I paid, it was exactly what I wanted; excellent giftCons: I can't understand why Amazon would put something easily damaged in transit in an envelope; seller promptly and politely addressed the issue ;boxes get bounced around in transit, not the seller's fault.Conclusion: set shuts adequately if you put the pieces in the bags; excellent value; instructions are adequate to get started; I ended up ordering a second set (hesitantly) that arrived undamaged.

Excellent ! Clean and sharp looks, magnets are strong so nothing moves no matter how you move the board, board is stable, the size is big enough so it is not hard to play the backgamon ( and of course chess), the dice is fenomenal as size, design and I mamazed how due to good design does not tend to come out of the board while playing.Warmly recommend.

Update-contacted company and new board was sent. Love itBoard arrived damaged. The board is made with an adhesive sticker or something like that. The sticker was not adhesive to the board so it has bumps on it.

Loved the chess pieces size, not so much the checkers pieces, kind of small but perfectly fine for backgammon, but for the price and enjoyment, this is a very good product!

Great quality, size & fun. I got this as a gift to go w/ our camping supplies and to teach one of the kids chess and it is a HUGE hit. I've got all kinds of travel games / boards and this one take the cake.

Alles ist vollständig und wie beschrieben. Die magnetische Halterung der Figuren praktikabel. Den Preis von 16.99 € finde ich fair. Der Verschluss vom Brett ist leider nicht magnetisch, nur ein Plastikverschluss. Wird man wahrscheinlich nach öfteren benutzen selber nachbessern müssen indem man Magnete anbringt oder ein Gummiband rum tut. Grundsätzlich zu empfehlen.

Das bedruckte Blech, welches auf dem Kunststoffgehäuse aufgeklebt ist, löst sich nach einigen Monaten ab.Produkt wurde aber von Amazon ohne Probleme erstattet.Produkt....najaAmazon Service... absolute Spitze!

Alles sehr billig verarbeitet. Einige Figuren sehen sehr komisch aus. Als ich das Brett aus gebreitet habe und dann wieder schließen wollte ging das ständig wieder auf das war sehr nervig. Also für Reisen nicht geeignet.
